This is an overdued review as we stayed in Suitcasers, early June of last year. It was my 2nd time in Seoul but my first time to stay at this guesthouse with my family. Our experience with staying at this guesthouse is nothing but awesomeness! The place is centrally located, a few blocks away from the City Hall station, Myeongdong...

Bosses & staffs are all friendly and helpful. As mention by one of the traveler, the location is really good. As it very near to City Hall exit7 and airport limousine bus stop. Suitcaisers also not too far from subway station Euljiro1ga (Line2) and Hoehyeon station (Line4).

Suitcasers is among the best hostels I've stayed at, and I've stayed at many hostels around Europe as well! It really does feel like home away from home. My boyfriend and I stayed in a double en suite. The room was spacious enough to keep our luggage open on the floor. What I love is how it actually looks like...

They have the friendliest staffs and I got to thank Dana, NK & Sam for the wonderful help we have received during our stay! As it was chilly when we were in Seoul in April, they even provided heaters to keep us...

Staying in Myeongdong / Namdaemun

Neighbourhood Profile
Myeongdong / Namdaemun
Arguably Seoul’s most famous neighbourhood and undoubtedly one of its most popular, Myeongdong takes shopping and eating to new heights, with hundreds of shops, restaurants, and cafes all stacked on top of one another. The rise in popularity of Korean cosmetics, fashion, and more has made this area a must-see for visitors who come and marvel at Myeongdong’s often frenetic pace and energy. Lotte and Shinsaegae’s massive department stores are also popular draws for both Korean and luxury products. The department stores, just like Myeongdong’s streets, are crowded around the clock. Myeongdong’s many street food carts are also immensely popular for their inexpensive and quirky offerings (French-fry-encrusted corn dogs, anyone?). The neighbourhood’s popularity, as well as its close proximity to other popular sights and neighbourhoods, makes it one of Seoul’s most popular places to stay.

“Strictly non smoking rooms. If you're a smoker, choose either 1st floor (smoke outside hostel) or 4th floor (there's a smoking area) otherwise you'll have to travel up and down the lifts. Pantry is located on 4th floor but I did not experience an increase of noise level during breakfast hours. :)”
