I loved using the jacuzzi tub when I arrived after my flight and long morning before checking in. The room was very comfortable and walking distance to the train station and restaurants/shops. I would recommend this hotel.
This may only be 3 star hotel but whoever designed the room must have travelled around him/herself. Very comfortable. Has every thing you need. Especially for people travelling for business or tourists. Amazing view out the window. I am 100% sure the room will accomodate everyones needs. Never had to ask for anything. Very friendly staff
The hotel is located in a cosy area with lot´s of restaurants and bars, and about 1,9 km from Lotte World tower and mall. Pharos is an average clean hotel with very friendly staff. It takes about 1h and 20 min to get from the airport with taxi or train. Reception is open 24/7. The room was at a good, average standard, and was cleaned every day. Breakfast was served between 07.30-09.30, and was an average international style with cereal, toast, cheese, boiled eggs, bacon and eggs, juice fruit coffee and tea etc. Over all a good hotel that was located about 40 min from the city centre of Seoul.
It’s quite close to the “Sports complex” subway station, and the room was super big if compare with the price, there’s also many local restaurants around there so that’s the reason I think it’s a good hotel for backpack travel. If the purpose is business, you might need to consider there’s no laundry service, no fitness, no bar, the breakfast is just ok for make you not hungry. Anyway it’s still a good hotel for foreigners.
The Hotel Pharos met all my expectations. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was quite roomy, though in this instance the hand held shower was in the bath - and I found myself trying to ensure I didn't get the floor wet! The service from the desk staff was excellent - even down to getting my clothes washed, pressed and returned within my 2 day stay. The area around the hotel is full of eating options, making the Pharos a real gem!
From arrival for our weeks stay - reception great. Service good and room upgraded when requested. Room includes full WIFI. BFST. 68 TV channels with good mix of Korean ,English US AUS UK), Chinese and Fox channels including ESPN Star sports. Room good size. Big double bath/spa. Reasonable view. Resturant B1F (bfst) and large resturant level 2 with coffee shop level 1. Reception very helpful. Cleaners very efficient. We both felt sorry for lone lady chef looking after breakfast as she had to cook clean wash with no assistance. Will stay again
Nice hotel in a very nice area of Seoul. Very good breakfast. Good bathroom with whirlpool. The people at the reception are very friendly. This is a small hotel with roughly only 60 rooms. Quite low room price for the good quality and area of Seoul.
Stayed here for 6 nights with my sister. The room and the bathroom was modern and spacious. It's located in the middle of an area where there are plenty of restaurants. At later hours it can get loud though as there are many pubs around. There are convenient stores just around the corner and also a Starbucks. It's very close to the Olympic stadium and only 2 stations away from the Lotte World amusement park. The room that we've stayed in needed some ventilation. Otherwise good location and good price for Seoul.
First up this hotel is perfectly located. We wanted to immerse ourselves in the culture for the 2 weeks we were there so for our last 6 nights we stayed here. Hardwood floors no carpet and a useable fridge not stuffed with minibar junk, i loved that. It is surrounded by bars, restaurants convenience stores, shopping and cafes. The subway and bus lines are less than a blocks walk. We took the bus & subway that entire week it was wonderful, we dont even use it at home in California. Now the reason for the 3 stars, the place could really use some updating, no clock, the bathroom was one of those wetrooms that i hate, there was mold & mildew all around the bathing area, there was no shower curtain so at least the floor wouldnt get wet, the towels had holes and were thin from being old. The room key has the hotel name and your room number on it, why, i dont know, but dont lose it the thought is scary. The room came with your standard amenities, but no sugar for all that tea they give you, i called down she brought 1 packet, i asked what were 2 of us supposed to do with that, she said thats all they had. I would definately want to stay in that area again but not at that hotel.…
Excellent hotel, even though it's a 3 star hotel but it's has 4 star services and the room was so great and spacious. Location is so convenient and staff are so friendly. We stay at this hotel next time I visit Seoul for sure. There are lots of local food around the hotel.
