This is a basic hotel that's reasonably priced and located pretty close to the main shopping strip of Myeongdong and walking distance from the airport bus stop. Rooms are fairly small but the room I stayed in had a bathtub and has all the necessary amenities. They do clean rooms and provide towels daily upon request if you put out...

The hotel is at the end of Myeundong. Hard to find the hotel so must look for Sejong Hotel as the landmark. Myeondong is right behind the Sejong Hotel. It is convenient. Walking distance from the Myeundong station and the airport bus stop. Hotel staff were helpful with our questions.

This hotel is a humble and charming hotel that was very pleasant to stay at. Very affordable, clean, great customer service, very close to all the shopping attractions, and overall the best hotel to stay at in Seoul. I will definitely go back to this hotel whenever I visit.

Moved to Click Hotel after leaving my original hotel that was in the middle of nowhere in the outskirts of Seoul. It is a simple, clean budget hotel that offers a great location in Myeongdong. The hotel is updated, has free wifi, and a great bathroom (often the downfall of budget hotels). My room contained a double bed and a...

Excellent location. 3 min walk to subway. Hotel situated at end of bustling street where the whole area is lively with lots of shops and stalls. Room is really small. Photos are deceiving. 2 single beds 1.5 feet apart. Room was clean when I checked in and toilet bowl looked new. Two bottles of shampoo. No toiletries. First impression, not...

Staying in Myeongdong / Namdaemun

Neighbourhood Profile
Myeongdong / Namdaemun
Arguably Seoul’s most famous neighbourhood and undoubtedly one of its most popular, Myeongdong takes shopping and eating to new heights, with hundreds of shops, restaurants, and cafes all stacked on top of one another. The rise in popularity of Korean cosmetics, fashion, and more has made this area a must-see for visitors who come and marvel at Myeongdong’s often frenetic pace and energy. Lotte and Shinsaegae’s massive department stores are also popular draws for both Korean and luxury products. The department stores, just like Myeongdong’s streets, are crowded around the clock. Myeongdong’s many street food carts are also immensely popular for their inexpensive and quirky offerings (French-fry-encrusted corn dogs, anyone?). The neighbourhood’s popularity, as well as its close proximity to other popular sights and neighbourhoods, makes it one of Seoul’s most popular places to stay.

“The walls is up to the 6th floor. Ask for 7th or 8th floor (highest) and hopefully you can leave the window opened. Water dispensers are found on 3rd and 6th floors. Not sure if they are on every floor.”
