I will start this review off on a positive note in that the hotel was locate in a good location close to Sinchon station with local restaurants nearby (also an all you can eat Korean BBQ for 10000won!) and also a Starbucks. BUT, The hotel was dirty from day 1. The hotel was difficult to find at night as the...

This place is just terrible! We regrettet the decision to stay here right after we entered the building. There was an odd smell of mold/diesel in the air and the stairs and hallways are very narrow. Especially the stairs leading down to the basment are so narrow that one has to crouch in order to walk down (even my girlfriend...

Stayed here for two nights. It was fine considering the room was quite cheap. The bed was big and very comfortable and there was a nice sized TV. However, the room very dated and the shower wasn't great. On a positive note, the staff which I encountered were really nice and talkative.

My husband and I have traveled to many countries and stayed in all types of places on a tight budget. But this is by far one of the worst places we've ever booked. It was last minute booking so I had no time to read reviews, BIG MISTAKE. We checked in and out in less than an hour. The smell...

The room was covered in mould and seriously unpleasant. For the money youre better off buying three beds in a hostel dorm if you dont want to spend the extra on a private room somewhere else. Youll have more space and it will be cleaner. See the photos for reference

We booked one night in a standard double room. It was really cheap due to reserving it after the check-in time. The hotel is really close to the Sinchon station. The hallways of the hotel are quite narrow and the ceiling is low. The man at the reception was friendly and helpful. The room itself was in the basement floor,...

The location is the most important thing about this hotel. It's within walking to distance to Anguk station, Anguk being quite a vibrant area itself. You can also walk to other location like Jongno-3 and Gyeongbok Palace. The room itself, well you get for what you pay for. It's reasonably sized and has room keeping every day. The mattress was...

It has been about a year since I stayed, but I thought I would contribute as I'm using the site to plan my next adventure. THE GOOD: Great location. You are about 2 minute walk from Sinchon Station (on the green/6 line). I very easily got from Gimpo to the hotel, with one line change I believe, and should be...

Room is soooo dirty ! Hair everywhere dust everywhere i cant touch anything!! Plus stuff is unkind. I Never stay again this hotel...

Staying in Sinchon / Ewha

Neighbourhood Profile
Sinchon / Ewha
Neighbouring Hongdae, the Sinchon / Ewha area by Yonsei University and Ewha Womans University is a popular student hangout spot known for its youthful jovialness. The two respective schools and their beautiful settings are among the best in Korea. As the main demographic in the area are younger students, most of the businesses cater to their tastes with price ranges to match. The plethora of things to do in the area makes it busy all through the day and night. The area around Ewha is particularly popular with women as it’s famed for its shopping and affordable hair and nail salons.

“Purchase the most expensive room. For me it was only about $8 a night more and wore it for a slightly larger bed and room. When coming from the station with luggage, use exit 7 as it has an escalator, rather then carrying you bags up the stairs at exit 8.”
