A lovely, comfortable hotel with friendly, helpful staff. I stayed for 4 nights for a long weekend of sightseeing in Seoul - location was perfect, very close to train station, shops, restaurants and walking distance to some sightseeing spots. The main reason I selected this...More

Overall a very average experience. Painless but unremarkable.
Having to pay separately for wifi in your room is ridiculous in 2015, especially given the price of the rooms. I don't care if lots of hotels also do it. They shouldn't. A rip-off plain and simple....More

Dear Gordon O,
Thank you for taking the time to review our hotel. It is regrettable that you found our hotel only at average best regarding internet charges and limited a la carte menu at the restaurant. Kindly accept our sincere apologies for falling short...More
This hotel is perfect for business in Seoul and located in the best area.
The hotel is perfect in rooms and service. Good restaurant and fitness club.
Is also close to a big shopping center.
I was impressed with the service at the Club Lounge. On arrival, the staff will check what drinks I preferred to get started with and would routinely check to see if everything was ok. That made my daily visits for breakfast and the evening drinks...More
A large business hub, Samseongdong is anchored by Korea’s World Trade Center, where many important business exhibitions and meetings are held. The enormous COEX mall sprawls underground, providing a myriad of things to do and see, including a large aquarium and movie theater. For a bit of peace and zen, head over to the ornate Bongeunsa Temple which is one of Korea’s most important places of worship. Or
take a stroll nearby through the tranquil royal burial grounds of Seonjeongneung, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

If I were you, I'd take taxi. If no traffic, the tax costs less than 10,000KRW (according to Naver map, it's about 6KM, less than 10mins). Black/luxury taxi provides better service but is far less common and costs double. And a big IF her is the traffic condition -- the time and fare can easily go up (even double) in peak hours.
Subway is convenient especially if to avoid traffic hour -- take Budang line from Suseo, transfer at Seolleung to #2 line, to Samseong station; Grand IC is at exit #5. About 5~6 stops total; short ride but with connection.
Another alternative is bus -- many buses run from Suseo to Samseong, if you feel comfortable doing so, or simply adventurous.
