Very good location. The room is very clean and new. Hotel staffs are friendly too. Walking distance to MRT station. Very convenience. There are many restaurant , food and shopping places in front of hotel. Just the room size is too small.

All of the basic rooms here are absolutely tiny (but not as tiny as hotel rooms in London). However, for this affordable price in the heart of the myeongdong shopping district, it is very hard to complain. The hotel is situated at Euljiro-1 station (do take note of the no."1" as there is multiple Euljiro stations, e.g. 2, 3, 4)....

The room is very small and it was difficult to place our luggage. Otherwise , the location is great . It is near to exit 2, from the subway underground shopping area, where our favourite dutch coffee is.

Location wise, this hotel is perfect. Near with Myeongdong, just walking distance and near with cathedral. However our group was using big bus which cannot through the small alley in front of the hotel so we have to carry our luggage crom main street to the hotel plus the stairsss in front of the hotel. Other than that, all ok....

The staff had such excellent service mind. They greeted us every time we walked in. Another thing that impressed us even more was he called to a museum in order to ask the closing time for us. Overall, this is a good place to stay in the heart of Myeong-Dong!

Hotel is conveniently located near to the green line metro station and walking distance from the Myeongdong shopping area. Basic amenities were there, I like that they provided cold and hot water dispenser for drinking water on every floor. However, I must say that the room that we got (room 509) was very very small. We barely had space to...

Hotel is located between the green and blue subway lines. The airport bus stops 200m away and it is an easy walk to the hotel. There is a wide variety of food all around and tourist sites like Namsan Tower, Namdaemun and Gwanghwamun are all within walking distance. We had booked a triple room for 4 nights and were assigned...

Located side by side with central skypark. Very good for long term accomodation, because they have the laundry coin at the lounge floor. And the lounge very comfy, free coffee and water. The staff really polite to all guest, but I think they need more staff with ability to speak english. Overall, I love this hotel, room bit tiny, but...

Staying in Myeongdong / Namdaemun

Neighbourhood Profile
Myeongdong / Namdaemun
Arguably Seoul’s most famous neighbourhood and undoubtedly one of its most popular, Myeongdong takes shopping and eating to new heights, with hundreds of shops, restaurants, and cafes all stacked on top of one another. The rise in popularity of Korean cosmetics, fashion, and more has made this area a must-see for visitors who come and marvel at Myeongdong’s often frenetic pace and energy. Lotte and Shinsaegae’s massive department stores are also popular draws for both Korean and luxury products. The department stores, just like Myeongdong’s streets, are crowded around the clock. Myeongdong’s many street food carts are also immensely popular for their inexpensive and quirky offerings (French-fry-encrusted corn dogs, anyone?). The neighbourhood’s popularity, as well as its close proximity to other popular sights and neighbourhoods, makes it one of Seoul’s most popular places to stay.
