An overdue review! Stayed at the Tea Tree Hotel for seven nights with friends in March and loved our time in Seoul. The hotel is a good choice if you don't want to splurge too much on accommodation. We had a twin room for less than USD$150, very decent as hotel rates in Seoul tend to be rather pricey. The...

We stayed 2 nigths at Tea Tree Hotel which is in the middle of the very trendy Sinsa-Dong area, on Ga Ro Su Gil, which means tree-lined street. This street in Kangnam (South of river) area has nonstop fashion stores for men and women, accessories, bag, stationery stores and coffee shops, many blocks long. Streets are full of young people...

We are writing this on our last day of a one-week stay. Overall we are very happy with our choice of the Tea Tree hotel. To our pleasant surprise, this is located in a great neighbourhood - very fashionable and trendy, with a lot of action at night time to enjoy. Every day we had a nice complimentary breakfast at...

I went to Seoul for a week and for the last 3 nights I stayed at Tea Tree hotel. The hotel location is so great in the middle of boutique shops and coffee shops where all of young generations gather after works. Highly recommended for those who prefers window shopping or just want to sip a coffee and relax...

Staying in Sinsa / Garosugil

Neighbourhood Profile
Sinsa / Garosugil
Trendy, chic, fashionable – these are just some of the words that sum up Sinsa and the neighbourhood of Garosugil within it. In particular, Garosugil has emerged recently to be one of Seoul’s most popular neighbourhoods; from the latest haute cuisine to what’s next in haute fashion, the restaurants, boutiques, and shops here tend to spark trends quickly spreading nationwide. It’s a magnet for celebrities, fashion industry titans, and Seoul’s elite and elite-aspiring, although some claim soaring real estate prices have led to a decrease in Garosugil’s independent charm. Still, it continues to remain one of the hottest and hippest areas in Seoul, so it’s best when visiting to make sure you’re dressed and looking the part.

“Since this hotel is right on the main strip, you may want to ask for a room facing the street if you want to see the action, or perhaps on the other side if you value peace and quiet from the noise”
