We were tempted by the good value room rates and the possibility that the Hill House might be a bit different. This hotel does feel different from the big corporate chains. It is tucked away in the Namsan district, and like other reviewers we did find that taxis and tour firms did not know immediately where it was. I would...

The location is good for shopping, it's close to Lotte, and other big shopping mall, and the Namdaemun Market too. It's a bit uphill to go back, but nothing bad. Rooms are very big, clean, modern and comfortable, with everything modern. However service could be better. We asked twice to have a look at our AC which was very weak,...

Hill House Hotel is ideally placed for a quick couple of days in Seoul. The desk staff are very good at English and extremely helpful. The room is of an adequate size for two and comes with an excellent wired internet connection, hot/cold filtered water, some slightly odd toiletries and a large TV. Convenience stores and restaurants line the surrounding...

Great value hotel Caught limousine bus from Icheon airport to Namdaemun Market and followed directions as given by an expedia traveller (at bottom of this review). 6-7 min walk to hotel (carrying small suitcase and rucksack). As you ascend the small incline towards the hotel, the area may look a little dubious but it’s absolutely fine. In fact I think...

We have just spent 2 nights in Hill House Hotel where we have found very close to sight-seeing points within walking distance. The Hotel Manager and the staff there were very nice to guests and helpful. The size of the room was big compared to other city hotel. In short, Hill House Hotel is worthy to stay with good value.

Free extra amenities - canned green tea, tooth brushes, tooth paste, simple breakfast - egg-salad-toast-juice-coffee, styling gels, shaving cream, razor, slippers, hair combs, refrigerator, air conditioner, computer with internet in the lobby, internet, brochures for bus tours and massage, city maps. Staff is very helpful and accommodating. Good central...

Stayed here with my wife for one night. As there was no website (or if there is, I couldn't find it!), we didn't have chance to check the place out online, so took a chance and booked it anyway... Glad we did! We found a map (from hotelkorea.com) which was spot on, and found the hotel really easily. The area...

The employees at the front desk and breakfast room made my stay incredible through their friendliness all their special attentions e.g. teaching us basic korean expressions, helping us find attractions, lending us electrical adapters and umbrellas. The rooms are very clean, modern, stylish and well equipped (with flat screen TVs, fridge, microwave, water dispenser and personal care essentials). The hotel...
