I stayed in October 2015 for a week at this hotel coming from USA and it was a good experience. Price about 80$ per night, very clean sheets and comfortable bed. Breakfast available daily for about 7$ in the lobby Cafeteria- nice surprise since was not noted on their website. Info: they provide sleepers, toiletries, hairdryer ( Italian style), towels,...

The hotel was conveniently located for my needs in Seoul. Check in went smoothly and the desk staff were pleasant. The room was small and warm. The desk staff told me that the AC was off for the season. After expressing my displeasure, I was told it would come on in a half hour. This went on every day of...

My wife and I stayed one night at the Hotel Nostalgia. It is a 15 minute cab ride to Gimpo International which was the main reason for it being selected. As well, the Airport Limo stops two blocks away from Hotel Nostalgia but the hotel can be tricky to find. The hotel itself is reasonably priced, clean and comfortable and...

A quaint and charming hotel with a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. The staff were all extremely helpful and courteous but Perry and Mabel were exceptional and went out of their way to assist us. The rooms were well appointed but small by western standards however this did not detract from our overall satisfaction with Hotel Nostalgia

I stayed at the hotel for four nights, and enjoyed it. It is very close indeed to the Gimpo International Airport. One might as well get to the Incheon Airport by a limousine bus, which is a forty-five-minute ride. The stop is just around the corner. For those who love sauna there is one just across the street in the...

Nothing spectacular here, jut adequate. It was clean, with a spacious bathroom and plenty of hot water. Cabs are cheap here, so while it's not central, it's still accessible, very close to Gimpo. Close to where my daughter was teaching so I was happy.

I'm writing this as an American visiting Seoul for the first time, so I can compare it with US hotels better than its peers in Seoul. From the outside, this appears to be no nicer than its neighboring hotels, but has a lot of perks that make it great for the clueless international traveler. First of all, their English-speaking staff...

I would not recommend this hotel for a number of reasons....there was nothing really wrong with it, but there was very little right with it, either. For starters, it is very far from the places of interest in Seoul (a 45 minute subway ride of a very expensive taxi ride). It was clean enough, but everything was just kind of...

Pros: good location near GMP airport. Cons: 1. pretty old look, run-down feel throughout the hotel. 2. I wanted to ask a non-smoking room, but only was told there is no non-smoking rooms in the hotel. ALL rooms are smoking rooms!!! Another issue not to blame the hotel is the taxi from Gimpo airport. Due to the close distance to...

I was on the 6th floor and had perfect (the usual Korean speed) wi-fi internet; in fact there were no wires in my room. The staff was very friendly and more than willing to help me get to my destinations in Seoul using public transportation (usually through subway line 9 at Gayang station, which is the closest to the hotel)...
