This lovely "relic from a bygone age" is indeed a totally accurate description. You can feel what a cool elegant home this once was. When I started looking at what would be needed to bring this place up to "really charming", I understood why it hadn't been done, an overwhelming, even Herculean task. But for the price it is charming....

The hotel Charm is a house converted to a 'boutique' guest house in the Old Town section of Tbilisi. My room was a dusty relic from a bygone age, complete with two 23 branch chandeliers with 2 working bulb out od 46, complete with a white Steinway Grand piano. Something out of a 40's film set. Facilities at best average,...

I chose this hotel cos the latest version of LP recommends this hotel. But after staying 1 day, I don't understand this hotel is charming. First, this hotel is not cheap, 50 Euro. With this price, I expect there is basic room service. At least, the housekeeper will tidy up the bed. But the answer is NO. Second, the breakfast...

Great location, quick response to reservation enquiries. Funky interior, don't stay here if you want modern faciltieis. Lovely balcony for guests on the 1st floor. I stayed in Room 6 which is the attic, the room has three single beds that aren't very comfortable or long enough (I'm 1.8 meters, not so tall). The A/C takes time to cool room...

This hotel is right in the historic center, in a traditional building near Anchiskati church and the clock tower. The surroundings are quiet, it is in a small street with almost no traffic. The room was spacious and comfortable on the first floor, with large windows. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Good value.

I would like to respond to some of the negative comments and reviews below, which I found unfair. I have stayed at Charm on numerous occasions, including during a nearly one year long work-related stay in Georgia a few years ago, and can assure travellers who come to Tbilisi that the hotel is full of charm and warmth. Unluckily, the...

We stayed at this hotel as our normal accommodation Skadeveli was full. We must have been given the worst room in the hotel on the first floor. The room was a reasonable size but.......... Firstly the door surrounds and most of the wall to the bathroom was damp and mouldy. See photos. The room was not clean, the double bed...

The location is the biggest asset of this little hotel: it's right in the center of the lovely old city. It's a charming place with nice people. However don't expect any of the ammenities of a classic middle range hotel. The bathrooms are bad, the breakfast is poor and the cleanliness of the rooms could be better, To sum it...

We extended our Tbilisi stay by one day and wound up here when our much nicer hotel was full. Our room was on the ground floor, and the person on the front desk talked loudly on her phone all night (which was not even on vibrate!)...she woke us up probably three times. The construction was also very, very loud, though...

For $40 a night, I got a dirty room and a bath that I shared with the other guests and the owners. I was covered with bites in the morning. I hope they were mosquitoes. The pillows and bedding were definitely held over from Soviet times. I could tell by the design and how worn they were. I can't imagine...
