Stayed here three nights with my girlfriend. The owner, Irakli, knows what guests want: clean rooms, good showers, and a friendly host (in that order, according to him:-)). I would rate skadaveli 10/10, 10/10 and 11/10 on those criteria, respectively.
My friends and I stayed a total of eight nights at Skadaveli - seven at the start of our trip and one before flying home. Don't be put off by the slightly dilapadated appearance on the outside, inside it's calm, clean and comfy.
