I spent a month in Yangon in July and flopped between hotels. I returned to this one a couple times. The rooms are small-ish, the rates are average-ish, the service isn't bad and the staff, like most Burmese hotel staff in a reputable place they're just college students trying to do their best hoping to get a chance to leave...

NOT WORTH BOOKING. On arrival we were told we couldn't use the pool without paying a large few daily on top of the room rate, even though that's why we had chosen the hotel. We explained that this was not written on the Agoda website and spoke to the manager several times who was rude and unhelpful. The pool itself...

I got myself a deluxe room on a high floor so my experience might be different from others. There was also no construction when I was there. My room is huge (and ceiling high), the television is so far away (8-10m) from my bed I have problem seeing the details. In contrast my hotel room in the city centre was...

rooms are so small, indoor juguzzi is unbreathable, have love tunnel under the hotel which created for couples to make love and it is available to rent hourly. Ceiling is too low and it is totally like budget hotels in Thailand. Overpriced.

It has been almost a year since I last stayed in this hotel and I must say that instead of improving, this time it was slightly worse that the last time I was here. Firstly, the construction is still on going and the hammering begins as early as 7am everyday I was there (inclusive of Sundays). Secondly, at the lobby,...

I stayed here for 3 nights on a business trip. At the recommendation of my local counterpart, I stayed. As mentioned by other reviewers, the rooms are refurbished so it looks pretty modern. The room and the bathroom was clean and adequately provided as with most hotels would. Good points: 1. Clean room 2. Friendly staff However, some drawbacks: 1....

Stay at Shwe Gong Daing during their renovation period. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout my stay in the hotel. Their refurbished rooms are wonderfully decorated. Will be glad to stay at their hotel for my next trip.

The room is cramped, but bed is comfortabl and shower was good! Breakfast food choices were not too plenty but were ok! Staff were nice but shy perhaps because of language barrier. The place is quite dark - hallways, lifts, restaurant :( perhaps it was designed like that! People at the reception were nice and accommodating. They arranged my day...

Don't stay here. All the reviews are correct. I am a business traveller and had no choice but able to finally move out this week. It is NOISY. There is drilling and construction from 10-5pm every day and note it usually goes on till 7pm plus despite the letter from the manager. The rooms are so small for $75US that...

Yikes. The supply does not meet the demand for rooms in Yangon and I had to leave my hotel due to no availability. I booked this place because I had no other choice but would never stay here again. When I checked in and asked for a non-smoking room the desk clerk literally laughed out loud. That should have been...
