This small hotel provides the height of colonial splendour. It was really luxurious. Our travel agent had booked one of the suite rooms ( there are 6) so it provided a real highlight (amongst many) in Myanmar as we stayed for 2 nights at the end of our travels. Yangon is very busy & hot so the Savoy provides a...

Gorgeous and spacious accommodation in this wonderful colonial style small hotel. Excellent dining and a lovely atmosphere in the bar and then at our meal on the terrace beside the pool. Helpful concierge and excellent bell boys who negotiate your taxi fares (down!). Several excellent restaurants nearby. Wish we'd managed to stay at this hotel on our first visit to...

Just beautiful! Colonial style, beautiful boutique hotel, wood everywhere. Absolutely charming and a refreshing quiet place in busy Yangon. Because it is tucked in, the pool does not get a lot of sun but still refreshing after walking around all day from one pagoda to the other. Breakfast was plentiful and very nice. For lunch we went across the street...

Very good service, delicious food, beautiful hotel. Although the wifi was kind of weak, the hotel makes up for it by offering many services and a relaxing place. They even brought us a birthday cake without us even telling them that it was our birthday !

This is the ideal place to start a Burma holiday. It has all the atmosphere of colonial times, with teak floors , period style furnishings, and is quiet in spite of its location on a busy street . The food quality is outstanding, the best we had anywhere in the country. Both restaurants produced exceptionally beautiful dishes, you should eat...
