Was in Yangon for 2 days on business in early June. Chose this hotel based on distance to my meetings and also Tripadvisor reviews. The reviews were lukewarm and suggested an agreeable hotel but nothing spectacular. I expected average and it was well above average. First the not so great - its a bit old world but not at all...

A large hotel with tremendous potential but in desperate need of a major makeover, notably the guest rooms. Upon asking for a different room after seeing the room I was first assigned, I was told my room had been 'renovated': a lick of paint is not a renovation. In seeing 'another' room, it was near identical to the one I...

The Inya Lake Hotel is liked by most of our guests that are looking for a hotel that displays character and large grounds, high ceilings and a lot of space. It is a City Resort close to the city yet away from the hustle and bustle The foot massage place described in the above review is not under the hotel's...

Came here for a 3 day business visit. Hotel clearly look... classical... where the rooms are extremely spacious... too spacious I'd say... not much thought has been put in for the interior. Hot water was not enough to fill the tub which was essential for me especially after a hard day's work. Breakfast selection is poor for a 5 star....

Nice hotel, great breakfast with lake view. Conveniently located close to a great restaurant. Swimming pool, beauty salon, fitness center. Honestly worth staying here. The staff is very nice. What else do you want from a hotel? I had a good time there.

It is a well maintained old hotel in Yangon. Rooms are decorated with new equipment although the rooms and buildings are old. But, the buildings are strong enough. A tennis court and pool are great (I would suggest more maintenance for pool. A big and silent park is really good for readers and joggers.

The hotel is made brilliantly bordering the Inya Lake. The view of the lake and all the lotus flowers blooming in he lake is very nice. However, if you are on business, then the commute to the business district itself takes half an hour and close to 5000 kyats in the cab. The rooms were nice and comfortable with the...

I have stayed for 2 weeks in this hotel in March and again in May. I think it is a superb location for a business trip, with ok wifi and a pleasant setting. Good food, reasonably priced and excellent facilities to do some fitness and sport on the side, are complemented by excellent staff. I will be returning there for...

Spectacular location by the lake. But thats all. Rooms are decent, and big. With open grounds view. Food at the restaurant is good. But nothing to write home about. Away from the busy town / downtown.

This hotel is a good age old elegant hotel. Everything seems luxurious. But the AC can't cool down the whole room while in the room. Breakfast is fantastic. Room service is fantastic as well.
