I recently stayed a night on this property. It was in desperate need if a fresh coat (s) of paint. The grounds had been ignored. I would NOT categorize this property as 4 star, although there are signs that it once was.

Inya lake hotel is one of those jewels that allow you to live in the Culture of the Burmese people. It is an old relic of a building, on perhaps the quietest , abundantly spacious property in all of Yangon. Sitting at the edge of lake Inya , it does not get much better as far as ambience. Of course,...

Good place to stay if you need to get to the airport on time as the traffic in Yangon can be gridlocked. Huge public areas with good patisserie and coffee stand in reception area, reasonably priced souvenir shops, and hairdresser. In April it was too hot to enjoy the gardens and the pool was shut. We ate in the bar...

I visit Yangon for business trips nearly three times per month, hotels in Yangon are pretty expensive but this hotel has, in my opinion, the best deal for the price they charge. It is an old building, but very clean, the rooms are, i would say, a confortable size, not small, not to big, the energy is stable, so you...

On the positive side, staff are very friendly and want to make the best of a horrible situation. Very old and tired building. Literally built by Russians in the 1950s. Facilities similarly old. Location is off the centre, too remote. Apart from the staff, really nothing positive to report I'm afraid. Do not go there.

We deeply regret your dissatisfaction in respect of your recent stay at the Inya Lake Hotel The hotel was built in 1961 and is a city report halfway between airport and downtown, the 37 acre location on the shores of the Inya Lake hotel enchants most of our guests and they are equally enthralled with the ubiquity of teak and...

I have just finished a 4 month stay in the Inya Lake Hotel while working in Yangon. Stayed in one of the 1 bedroom apartments. As most reviewers commented, hotel is slightly dated, but this does not detract from the overall excellent comfort and ambiance provided. What really makes this hotel stand out though is the staff and their positive...

Inya Lake is setup on a large piece of land, nestled amongst Lake on one side and greenery on other. To get here take a taxi from airport, fare would be 6,000 Kh. About hotel – Setup in a quiet corner far away from all the hustle-bustle of the city, there is an old worldly charm about this place with...

The inya lake hotel is home from home with its oldey worldly decoration but very friendly and warm. Restaurant is great and a super breakfast. Although could do with a little update. The air contact is a bit noisy but you get used to it. Nice pool.

We had a great time at this hotel. Taxi from the airport to the hotel was 6,000 Kh. It took about 30 mins around 7pm. The rooms were nice and clean, a bit dated, but that didn't bother me. The staff was super helpful. Breakfast buffet was fine. Sunsets were amazing! We were able to observe 2 wedding receptions while...
