Friendly helpful staff. "Superior room" has no windows, was smelly, much mildew and fungus. Breakfast was basic but OK. Standard room has same Quality but toilet/shower in corridor. Summarised; You get what you pay for ... Remember this is the cheapest hotel in town...

I stayed there the first time in 2012 for $12 a night and the second time in 2015 for $23 a night in the same type of room. The hotel has gone down hill a lot and staff can't speak English and just sit around instead of cleaning. When we left my wife fell over cause there was a huge...

Like most hotels in Myanmar it is very overpriced ( 20 USD a night for room with shared bathroom ) the hotel staff can't speak any English !!! I really mean no English at all !!! We tried to book a bus ticket with them to go to panthein and they overcharged us ! When we asked for a taxi...

Exactly as one would expect for USD 15.00 in Yangon - a fairly good deal, but it's pretty grim. I stayed at another guest house previously and found this one to be the lesser of two evils. The breakfast was awful, but oh well. Good for a crash pad if you are solo.

We stayed at Daddy's Home for our last two nights in Myanmar. Our room was $28 for a triple with A/C, shared bathroom and breakfast. (This is the cheapest we found in the area.) Actually, there were only two single beds but they added another one but we opted to just take 2 beds since we wouldn't be able to...

Nothing special here.. a bit overpriced but that is in whole myanmar so thats a bummer. The rooms are simple with shared bathrooms on the hallway. The only bad experience we had that we booked a nightbus at 3 am. so we packed our bags at 2:30 am and were ready downstairs at 2:45 am. Then they told us no,...

This hotel was really quite grim. In comparison with what else you can get for the price in other parts of Myanmar it's horrible. There was no window, shared bathroom (which were grimmer than a grim thing) and it all felt coated in a dirty film. The ac unit looked like it was about to dive off the wall. I...

We had a very bad experience at Daddy's Home Hotel. We booked and payed for a room with inside bathroom online at Agoda a week before our arrival. When we got there, however, they gave us a tiny room without as much as a sink, and a filthy outside bathroom to use. We talked to the manager as we thought...
