Rooms are horrible, at least the cheaper ones. We stayed in 12 usd rooms in myanmar that were much better than 17-20 us rooms here. Most rooms have no windows, its musty and the air stinks. Rooms are claystrophobic - very small, bedding with holes.. We changed 40+ backpacker hotels in south east asia and only 3 had cockroaches in... More

In the budget price range from between USD$25-$45 bucks will get a range of options. I had a room on one of the upper floors. It took forever to get there... a million steps. The room smelled strongly of acetone, as there had been recent renovation of the stone wall grouting. It was overpowering. *hot shower worked *toilet worked *window... More

Room was okay very basic, clean share bathroom, terrible wifi that is barely worth logging onto. However staff were absolutely lovely and helpful and breakfast was great. Good location near eating, just be prepared for thigh burning stairs!

If you want a good breakfast, this is the place. Just be early. Around 5 local dishes, more then 5 good jams, fruit juice, coffe and tea unlimited(but strong). Rooms overpriced but this is the standard in Burma. Still, the staff at the reception was really friendly. We arrived at 6am and got a room until ours was ready. And... More

We stayed here after a long busride from bagan. Lonely Planet said it was cheap and in the downtown area. The building is huge (8 floors) but there is no elevator. Rooms are 20 dollar for a double with shared bathroom. Rooms have no windows and beds are no good. Bathroom is clean and 24hr of hot water. The buffet... More

We only stayed here one night. The room was hot, the shower was a disappointing dribble of cold water. The breakfast was pretty good. It's not a terrible place but there are much better places available for the same price.

We found this hotel very disappointing. It feels like you are sleeping in a giant swimming pool - the rooms are very claustrophobic. The breakfast was also pretty poor. The strangest thing though was the big posters with house rules plastered on every door, wall and pillar - it was a little much. There were even condoms clipped to the... More

This place claims to have the "Best Breakfast Buffet in the World" and after a few weeks of traveling Myanmar this sounded like something I was willing to pay the much higher than average price for. $35 for a dingy twin room that looked like a prison cell. So, this breakfast... I want to be sarcastic, I want to be... More

We arrived very late in Yangon and since the first Hostels we asked have been already full we decided to stay here despite the high price. The rooms are tiny, the bathrooms not the cleanest, the owner is really unfriendly, Wifi is just ok, the breakfast was really good though (huge variety). All together this would be an ok guesthouse...but... More
