One of the cheapest option in Yangon downtown. The best rooms are on the first floor, most of them without window, that keep you away from street noise. The rooms with a/c are a better option because in the ones with fan you can feel a bit of humidity. The room on top of the building can be too hot...

I have stayed here 4 times now and each time in a different type of room. They have the cheapest private rooms in downtown and they are all quirky and cool. The hotel has 10 floors with a rooftop garden and hammocks up top. Some of the rooms are a little damp, but just check the room first, the friendly...

Stayed in a double room with a/c at a reasonable price for 2 good nights sleep. Has good wifi, for the Burmese standard, and the buffet breakfast has a couple of winners. The best part of this hotel is the man who works at the front desk. He is extremely helpful with local advice about Yangon and also surrounding areas...

We love this place. One of the oldest backpacker guesthouses in Bagan. If your expectations are laxe and your knees can handle 5 or 6 flights of steps, the rooms on the top are well worth it. Easy, friendly vibe. Safe and tranquil, in a convenient location to walk around and get great Indian food and easy access to the...

Me and my partner actually find this place in trip advisors as well! We definitely didnt regret it; compare to many other places around Sule Pagoda, this place have very reasonable price. The architecture is memorable, hehe. So many stairs it reminds me somehow with Ghibli movies, but its good to have some exercise anyway! The owner are very sweet...

Cheap stay in Downtown($12, 2 pax, shared toilets), quiet alley, great and english speaking front desk, free (huge) buffet breakfast on the amazing rooftop that is also great for night beer sipping. You can even refill your water bottles for free. Basic rooms, but the place is clean and safe! From the rooftop you get and awesome 360-view of the...

Good location and friendly staff. Rooms without windows feel a bit small, but the air-Con makes up for it. I'd definetely recommend it! There's a curfew at 11, so not for late-night party people. View from rooftop is beautiful. Lots of travelhelp in the reception.

Like a lot of hotels in Myanmar, this one seemed pretty expensive for what you get. The room was small and only had a fan (no air con). The shared bathroom and the whole building could have done with a good clean. The reception staff were great though, very friendly and helpful. They offered us a taxi to get to...

This place seems to be where all the backpackers like ourselves go. The room is cheap, but the whole place is a dive. Breakfast was meant to be amazing, but was just okay, and on one day we went up for breakfast an hour before it was meant to be finished and the cooks didn't ever re fill the trays...

I can't say anything about the hotel and it's facilities, I stayed somewhere else. But here I finally found an English speaking hotel staff that knows bus lines hours prices, train info, info about the beaches of Myanmar, the airport and even the albino elephants! I got the best help and info here!
