Definitely very happy with our stay. We spend both first and last night of our trip in this hostel, clean, comfortable and one of the cheapest options in Yangoon. I would say the perfect choice for backpackers! But I have to say, that the best of it all is the staff. Personally, the last two days of my trip i...

I stayed for two nights and felt quite comfortable.Though it's a budget hotel, roomd are clean and user friendly.Staff are very cordial and make an extra effort to keep the customers happy and help to get a taxi move around. Mother Land Inn 2 was the friendliest hostel I stayed in in Burma, lovely staff especially the wonderful ChanChan! The rooms are basic but clean, comfy beds, warm showers and great breakfast buffet. They were endlessly helpful from a local dentist to scoring cheap cabs taxis. I would definitely recommend.

Motherland 2 is definitely not in the luxury bracket, but it doesn't pretend to be, it is a good base if you are looking for something for a short stay in Yangon. The girls who work in the reception area are extremely helpful and friendly, they let us check in early, and out late - a huge bonus when travelling...

First off, the staff here is super friendly. And it seemed to be one of the more affordable options in Yangon. However, it just wasn't our vibe. It was clean enough and the beds pretty comfy. However the pillows were by far the worst we had come across. We tried to change them out but it seemed to be the...

Myanmar is definitely different to other countries. Everything is more expensive and you can't expect too much even though a high price. Having said this, I think this hotel was nice and comfortable. I have been in three hotels in Yangon and this was definitely the best.

This is a very good hotel on budget. Great staff, very helpful in booking trips, buses and taxis around. There is warm water. Clean rooms, good breakfast but not a massive choice, he hours for breakfast are very reasonable 7am-11am :-) Would recommend.

The staff make this place. Superbly welcoming and friendly. Reasonable and very interesting walk in to town from here. Good shower and nice room. Good breakfast with choice of local or western and a bar area outside.
