For the price the hotel is quite basic, though its Myanmar! but the staff are really helpful, but it would be great to have some English speaking staff especially in the restaurant. It would make ordering food a bit more easy. Superb cleanliness and hygiene standards in the room. Paying for the hotel room in advance also was a shocker,...

Considering that there are not many hotels in Myanmar, I would recommend Panda Hotel. It may not be new but its clean and well maintained. A little far from the center of the city, it is relatively in a quiet neighborhood but easily accessible since there are many taxis available.Myanmar hotels are expensive compared to the same class in Bangkok...

The 'Panda' must have been a first class address in old socialist days and- it still has the 'charm' of that period. Don't exspect too much. But: The personal is very helpfull and friendly and the rooms are clean.

My friend & I recently stayed at this Hotel for 4 nights, when we arrived the room that we were given hadn`t been cleaned very well as there was long black hair all over the floor & rice over the counter where the Jug was!!! The room was a good size as was the bathroom & we had a lovely...

We stayed here with an Explore! Tour which, by the way, was excellent. This hotel is very comfortable, although the décor is quite dated by UK tastes. The room was clean and comfortable, the bed very firm. There was tea making facilities, although they only provided coffee. There is a small fridge and a room safe. The air con works...

The Panda Hotel is a basic, affordable and comfortable hotel located in a quiet residential area of Yangon which we enjoyed pre and post tour. Rooms were spacious and very clean with plenty of hot water, excellent quiet air-conditioning, comfortable beds with good quality linen and towels, a safe, free wifi, hairdryer, fridge, tea & coffee making facilities, flat screen...

Perhaps the name Panda is a giveaway, but this seems to be oriented towards Chinese groups. Certainly the breakfast fare and crowd was predominantly Chinese in flavour and origin. Its OK as a place and fairly centrally located - if you can get the Agoda price of $80 - but that's rather over priced for what you get. Still, I...

definitely not one of the better mid-range places i've stayed, but for yangon it fit the bill. good buffet breakfast. far from centre of town. friendly and reliable taxi drivers always waiting outside. i had a terrible headache and staff at front desk gave me some aspirin from her purse, which was much appreciated.

This hotel is clean and has hot water but the decor is tired and you would only stay here for one night if everywhere else in Yangon were full. it's a bit too far from downtown Yangon to be convenient to walk to. The staff are however very friendly and helpful, and if you can't find anywhere else in Yangon...

This is probably about as good as the average Travel Inn by Western standards, but that's good enough. You get hot water, a decent sized room, reasonable wifi for Mayanmar (slow everywhere) and a decent breakfast. Plus the location makes it walkable for downtown centre. Rock hard pillows though.
