The Hideaway Island resort was the perfect place for a girls week away. There were activities organised everyday/night or you could just sit on the beach and enjoy the sun and the amazing snorkeling. The hideaway team are awesome! The 3 Brians, Alice, Rose, Charity, Party-boy Josh, and the rest of the crew made our time there so easy and fun!!...

Hideaway Island Resort, is a Fantastic Place to stay. When arriving you catch a bout to Island with on of the great people that drive the boat. Great rooms to stay in and great food to eat. The staff are just wonderful, always greeting you with a smile. There's always something to soon this island from snorkelling, kayaking or the...

I have just been to Hideaway Island in Vanuatu for a whole week. A small boat takes you to and from the island within 5 minutes, day or night and when you are a guest on the island, it’s totally free. It’s a very small island; the ‘rough’ side catches the winds and you can’t really swim there as it’s...

We stayed for the week leading up to our wedding and cannot praise highly enough the genuine friendliness of Mark and Sue and all their staff and their total commitment to making our stay a wonderful experience. Every single person on the island went the extra mile for us and we are very grateful. We will be back many more...

We stayed for 7 nights and it definitely wasn't long enough. I was quite upset to leave, especially having the best snorkel on that last morning - calm as calm and so many fish to see. We stayed in Bungalow 3 which is a great place to stay - away from the bustle of the daytrippers, with lovely views over...

We have just got back from 8nights at Hideaway Island Resort. Our family consists of myself and three daughters 6,4,3yrs. This is our second visit to Vanuatu in twelve months. Last year we stayed at The Holiday Inn but after a day visit to Hideaway Island we always said - 'we would go back' and we did. We booked 15...

Myself and friends have just returned from a wonderful eight days in Vanuatu and settling in at the Hideaway Island Resort. There were seven of us, all university students from Wellington, New Zealand and let me tell you that this was a holiday none of us will forget! From jumping off the ferry for the first time, it took us...

This is probably the best place to stay for budget travellers who don't want to be too far from town. The island is tiny and accessible by a small boat running back and forth from the main land throughout the whole day for guests (free) and visitors (a small fee redeemable for food and drinks). The place is clean and...

Having been to Hideaway back in 2011, this was a revisit to Paradise! The flights (Virgin), the staff waiting at the airport to pick me up, my first view of this beautiful little island - surrounded already by sheer beautiful bliss - was like "coming home"!!! How is it possible to rate such an amazing place, with all of the...

This was a great place to stay particularly for those that like/love snorkelling and diving. Both can be done straight off the beach or further afield. Its a lovely protected marine sanctuary, clean clear water and lots of fish and coral. The island is approximately 15 minute car/bus ride from port Vila and a 5 minute boat ride (that opperates...
