Really loved the friendly atmosphere this place had to offer. About our 3rd time staying here and we loved every minute of it. From the moment we checked in to the time we checked out it was a pleasant experience. There are no lifts so it doesn't hurt to ask for assistance to get your bags up to your floor.... More

First two nights in Tonga were at Litte Italy, good sized room with air con and ensuite, clean and comfy. Ocean view deck which was nice, sit back watch the waves, the locals and the awsome piggy parade. Fishing pigs on your door step made us smile. Short walk to town, easy taxi ride to airport or ferry. Friendly service... More

A great little find in Tonga's capital! We liked the location next to the beach with a long, paved walkway along the seawall into town. The room was clean and neat but nothing special. A room with an ocean view and patio looked a little nicer, but they were fully booked at the time of our visit. Service was average,... More

Hotel is nice and great to look at, but unfortunately the bed was terrible..so NOT comfortable. Tossing and turning all night long. mattress was a worn out one because one side was a lot softer than the other and the middle was a lot higher. Room is nice. Nice view and spacious. Location is ok about 30min walk to town.... More

This hotel/restaurant is fine. The room was clean. We faced the bay and found it a bit noisy from late night activity but otherwise quite satisfactory. The resaurant was mixed in its service, but the food was very good. If you do not mind being removed from the downtown area, it is a fine choice. We would have preferred a... More

On our honeymoon my partner and I visited little italy restaurant on both local recommendation and trip advisor ratings . We walked in and were ignored by two members of staff. No smile or greeting despite us saying hello to them. My husband asked the second member of staff whether we could sit inside or outside. No answer was forthcoming... More

(...scuse the pun!) Anyway ... Tonga is not Fiji or Hawaii in terms of tourist-friendly infrastructure, which is what makes this country great to visit: you're seeing life much as it is lived by the locals, not as it has been adapted to tourism. Little Italy is part of this scene, so although it's above average for accommodation in Tonga,... More

This is a great little hotel, clean, with friendly staff, and a great restaurant on the ground floor. We walked to town along the coastal walkway and passed the palace each day to breakfast in town (about 20mins) because we liked the exercise, but we had one breakfast at the hotel and that was fine too. Great views of the... More
