Service and facilities are frankly not wonderful, but it is a pleasant place to stay all up. Spacious and clean rooms; bathroom plumbing not wonderful, but it works. Main annoyance was doof-doof music from below going to midnight or after - earplugs recommended. Instant coffee only on the breakfast buffet, but loads of fresh local fruit make up for it...

Went to the King Solomon this week. The room was ok - getting old, but acceptably clean. The breakfast, now at Bamboo café, was cold and uninspired. Even the coffee was not very good. The site itself has potential however there was litter laying around and no one seemed to care. Old rusty air conditioning units were left rotting in...

The hotel is in a nice spot on the side of a hill with a cable cart that travels to each floor, it has a pool and a gym as well. It also has a restaurant at the hotel that is open for breakfast, lunch & tea. There is also a bar area where you can get a drink if...

Our office had a reception at King Solomon Hotel. It's a huge group of people. King Solomon Hotel delivered a very good service during the reception. Their performances were excellent. Better than we expected. All the guests were very happy during that night. Thank you for providing us a wonderful evening.

Not Honiara's newest, flashiest or most expensive hotel but centrally located, charming features (in particular that cable-car-instead-of-elevator), friendly efficient staff and large rooms. Buffet breakfast generous (with fresh coconuts and an egg station); evening Thai-themed restaurant better than other reviews had led me to expect. I made three visits here in my short two week Solomon stay - they will...

I usually stay at King Solomon Hotel when I am working in Honiara. It is in a great location, reasonably priced and the cable car up to the rooms makes it quite quirky! The staff are usually all very friendly. It obviously attracts a lot of people working in Honiara and competes with the other main hotels. This place could...

The Solomons do not have many options when it comes to accommodations. This is not Fiji. We did discover 2 other hotel options that appear to be higher level, but overall, the King Solomon Hotel got the job done at a better value. Here's the main thing. Get a room on top to avoid noise at night! This place is...

Conveniently located in the centre of Honiara CBD, King Solomon Hotel offers guests some of the best hotel room sea views you can get of the renown and wonderful iron bottom sound and overlooking the Florida Islands.
