Stayed here after an Aggressor trip. Very accommodating staff, quaint ambiance, rather average rooms, and nice garden/grounds across the road. Main problem is that there is no warm water on the 4th floor - not even tepid. They use tiny tankless heaters that don't work at all. The staff is aware of the issue, and will go through the motions... More

I stayed the first 4 nights at another hotel that was very run down. Looked around the island and found this gem of a hotel. I would highly recomend this hotel to everyone going to the island. Great atmosphere and very friendly service from all of their staff. I will stay here every time I come to dive in palau... More

We would happily recommend Cliffside Hotel to dive groups staying in Palau. Although not a "luxury resort" and a distance from dive shops, the fabulous staff and service at the hotel made it a great, fun place for our large group to spend a week. We had nothing but lovely experiences with warm, friendly staff who made us feel like... More

From all of the reviews that we read on Trip Advisor, we were expecting more than we received. For the price that we paid, we would have liked a better quality room. We had a room with a jacuzzi and a veranda. We found the room to be awkwardly arranged and with little appeal. The jacuzzi is situated in the... More

I stayed in this hotel for over three weeks. The room was always clean and well kept. It wasn't a big resort hotel but it had a pool and wonderful views. The staff was amazing!! They were so helpful, friendly, and had an attitude to make sure we were pleased with our stay. It is not a 5 star hotel..............but... More

Stayed here with a friend for three nights, while visiting Palau along with Micronesia and Guam. I was a little worried about a few of the negative reviews on TripAdvisor, but I don't know what these reviewers were talking about -- Cliffside was a clean hotel with a very friendly and accommodating staff. It is located on a hillside (hence... More

Nice Staff. Decent Hotel. Older rooms. Clean. Decent food. Iffy Internet connection. Not as nice nor as expensive as Palau Pacific Resort that friends stayed at.

I can't find the perfect words for this hotel. I am a solo female who traveled from the united states to join a group of other divers for a week of diving here. The day before the liveaboard departure, I suffered an injury and was told no diving for a week by a doctor @ the hospital. The staff here... More

Stayed at Cliffside in 2006 and enjoyed it so much, I had to come back. Would you believe it's even nicer the second time around? The staff and food are great and the views are majestic. I don't know how they came to pick this site but watching the weather blow through can be an event in itself. Everysone is... More

I really enjoyed my stay. Every day was a pleasure, from watching the sunrise on the balcony to having an evening drink at the poolside bar. Guests at Cliffside also have access to the amenities at The PPR, a short walk, or drive down the road. The best amenity is the staff. Everyone was friendly. I really felt at home... More
