For the purpose of our stay, the Palau Royal Resort was ideal. We booked through our dive company (Palau Dive Adventures) and stayed in the ocean view double room which cost a bit extra but was well worth it. The room was modern, really spacious, clean, well equipped with toiletries etc. The balcony looked out over the hotels private beach...

This is a great property in Koror, referred to as PRR (many hotels use a three letter abbreviations). The grounds are very well maintained and the rooms with balconies have great decor, are modern facilities. There is a swimming pool and a small beach with a protected swimming area. They provide an airport shuttle service, which is not free and...

I stayed here for several days waiting to go out on a dive trip. I upgraded my room to the waterfront and was really glad I did both for the view and the quality of the room, (I think they were recently refurbished.) Very elegant and upscale! There are many recreational options on the property and closely. They have their...

I gave PRR 2 stars for the top floor luxury room and the view from the balcony. But once you leave the room, the word 'resort' wouldn't be my choice of words. Wifi - the 'resort' will sell you a $20 wifi card for 14 hours of use. But they don't tell you it only works intermittently in some areas...

I stayed here 9 days while diving in Palau. The hotel fit the bill for me because I was not really using the facility except to sleep and have breakfast every morning. I left at 8:30AM and got back around 4:30PM. The staff were very friendly and helpful. By the time I left most of them knew me by name...

Nice place to base yourself in Palau, on the water with a great lagoon and overlooking the harbour. Plenty of tour options that leave from right out the front of the resort. Food is buffet style with a good selection of western and Asian foods. Only complaint is the beds are really hard, they would do well to swap out...

Spent 5 nights total at Palau Royal in conjunction with a liveaboard dive trip. Will try to make this useful, likely echoing many comments already made here. First, the hotel options in Palau are limited. Everything is overpriced relative to quality, and that's just a fact of life. This feedback is consistent with others staying at different hotels. The rooms...

My wife and I stayed for a week at PRR for our honeymoon and generally had a positive experience. The quality of the room was good although the quality of amenities and space were not what we would expect at this price range. This was the case with regard to all aspects from amenities in the room to service at...

My husband and I were part of a group who stayed for one week of diving before going to Solitude One. The grounds are beautiful. The room spacious, well-appointed and very clean. Nice personal care products, hairdryer, slippers and safe. They are very conscientious about personal protection - won't clean the room if the safe is not locked. Continental breakfast...

We stayed at the resort for 7 nights around a liveaboard (Solitude One - Exceptional!). The hotel was very nice - rooms large and comfortable, grounds, pool, lagoon were beautiful and well maintained. The food was ok - we mostly had breakfast, although we did have lunch twice - not my favorite - many choices, but the execution (taste) was...
