Stayed over a couple of nights en route and had a large room with a comfy bed. The room facilities were good and the air-con and wifi worked well. Staff are friendly and efficient; common areas are clean and expansive. Its really a business hotel during the week and a family

We enjoyed a top floor room with balcony and delightful view. The room was spacious and well equipped, staff are friendly and courteous. Facilities are excellent with large pool, beach access, spa, gym and four dining options, although with low occupancy during our stay not all

We booked for five peaceful days via Luxury Escapes . The hotel is well maintained with very helpful and cheerful staff - especially Marie who made us her special coffee every breakfast . Don't miss the buffet nights - one of the best ever . L'Hippocampe ( Seahorse )restaurant

The worst honeymoon choice was not Le Meridien's fault, but they didn't make it that much better either. After travel to over 80 countries this was by far the most disappointing- lacking culture and character. Le Meridien was nice, and our room was tidied daily. However, it

Bonjour Lindsey7855, Thank you for choosing Le Méridien Nouméa Resort & Spa and for your feedback. Unfortunately you came during the cyclone season when the weather is the most uncertain. They are activities to do in Nouméa even when it's raining (Tjibaou Cultural center, New Caledonia, Nouméa, WW2 and maritime museums, city market, massage at Deep Nature Spa) and we feel sorry that you felt like loosing money and time here. We suggest you to come back at a better moment in the year (between October and December) to have a nice weather and more activities to enjoy (water activities, hikes, ultra-light flights, etc). Best regards, Le Méridien Nouméa team

Bonjour Harry B, Thank you for choosing Le Méridien Nouméa for your recent visit to Nouméa and for your valuable feedback. We are sorry to hear that your expectations were not met during your stay. Please rest assure that your comments have been shared with the teams and we will look into this for further improvement. Due to the cyclone Oma during your stay, our restaurant services have been disturbed, especially at Le Faré restaurant & bar. Please note that this restaurant is open from Sunday to Wednesday during the summer season as we have many private events happening from Thursday to Saturday nights. Our resort has 4 restaurants : Le Sextant for buffet breakfast and seafood buffet, Le Faré for lunch, L'Hippocampe for à la carte fine dining and Le Shogun for a japanese lunch or dinner. We are sorry that despite those options, you didn't find anything that fit your desires. Once again, many thanks for sharing your feedback on TripAdvisor. Best regards, Le Méridien Nouméa team

There is a shuttle bus from the airport stopping at all hotels as required. You can also book a private shuttle which is not expensive and will go straight to your hotel and give you a time for return trip. I can't give contact details on this site but if you google "smithvoyage" you can book directly with them and you are not required to pay in advance. We have used them previously and have rated them 5 stars on tripadvisor. The drivers speak English and French and are like guides during your trip.

There were no microwave facilities in the delux room we had, we even had to ask housekeeping to bring us a cork screw. We think this was because they wanted us to purchase the overpriced wine in the resort's restaurants.

This is a great hotel, probably the best on the Island, well serviced with great staff. My only complaint is that on the whole the Island is very expensive, but if that is not an issue then this is the best hotel to stay in, we found it to be excellent. Make sure you book in for the seafood buffet, and go there hungry as it is an exceptional meal, the beef carpaccio was superb.

Hi, There are 2 options to go to the isle of pines : by ferry Betico or by plane with Air Calédonie. Both offer great deals throughout the year. We stay at your disposal for any further information. Best regards, Le Méridien Nouméa team
