We stayed there only one night but it was good hostel for reasonable price! Comfy bed and wifi reaching in the room. Clean bathrooms and access to big kitchen. Nice staff. I wouldnt complain for anything;)

We stayed at room one, which I would not reccommend, as it is very close to the next-door cafe. They start playing music at like eight in the morning. However, the common rooms are nice, especially downstairs, where there is a kitchen, tables and two hammocks for relaxation. This invites to socialization, and since the hostel seems to have quite...

We stayed here in December 2015. When we booked the room online we asked for a private double room. When we got there the guy told us he had us down for 2 twin beds and said if we wanted a double room we would have to pay extra. This didn't make sense as he could see on our confirmation...

I stayed at Candelos Hostel almost a year ago and I think it's time for me to write a review for this amazing place. First of all the staff is wonderful. I was there for a couple of nights before I traveled around in Colombia for tree weeks. During this time the owner took care of my suitcase even though...

Staff were friendly but not very knowledgeable when we enquired about several things (hadn't a clue where the post office...

The kitchen in the hostal...

This a great place to get away from those who travel and adjust to a more local style. Place continues to develop into a gallery, each work unique by talented artists. The staff is kind, friendly, and helpful. The roof top offers beautiful views of the city, most sunsets are amazing.

The vibe at Hostal Candelos has beat any hostel I have stayed at during my travels. Every night the staff cooks dinner that can be purchased for 5,000 pesos (about 2 dollars), and there is a fun bar upstairs where you can meet lots of different people from all over the world over a beer. Most nights are quiet, but...

Hostel Candelos feels like home from your first step in. Locally owned, charming rooftop bar and atmosphere, and perfect location for anyone looking to explore the most beautiful part of Bogota. Views of Monserrate and Guadalupe are available 24/7 and the staff treats you like family!
