Not a clear standard of service We were a big group on a business trip and nobody seem to be content with the everything in the hotel. The keys never worked, no air condition, too noise, intermittent internet, no drinking water, at least one out of 3 daily entrance to each room implies a return to the lobbie because the...

Stayed here in March. The hotel is OK, a little old. Rooms are good, as the bathrooms. Front desk was not perfect, took a lot of times, and since it is a big hotel, they simply don´t know that you are a guest there. The problem is the area. Is in the center of Bogota and the surroundings are not...

I was AMAZED at how on target some of the comments on Trip Advisor were about this hotel. Lovely staff... very helpful. TONS of armed security, which was at times daunting. The lack of AC means that the windows are open -- and it can be loud. The restaurant was "OK." Breakfast was as described ---a large selection. As a...

Reading the reviews I went to the Tequendama with some trepidation only to be very surprised and pleased. With my ICH membership and paying a bit more for an upgrade ($190 USD total including tax), I got a spectacular suite on the very quiet Club floor with air conditioning, free wireless internet and an included tasty buffet breakfast on the...

We stayed for the 6 days of 5/27-06/01/10 and this hotel more than met our expectations. Previous reviewers found sleeping difficult due to noise and it was during daylight hours - pre-7:00 PM most noisy due to the on-going road construction, At night, once we discovered the maid opens one or more windows during her stay, closing them quiets the...

Contrary to various other comments, in my opinion this is an ok hotel. We have travelled to over 100 different countries in the world and have always stayed in minium 3 star hotels so feel qualified to make a star rating comment regarding this hotel. We never found a problem with noise as the windows were double glazed. The position...

The hotel is a bit dated and the rooms don't have air conditioner which makes it hard to sleep at night with all the noises from the expressway. The employees are friendly and the hotel has everything you might need if you are willing to pay.

I had room provided here as part of a conference I was a guest presenter for at the convention center. The room was on the 5 floor on the side of the major road. I ended up going to the pharmacia to get earplugs, which helped with sound but not vibration. I asked to be moved but the hotel was...

My wife and I were in Bogota during our anniversary, so I figured I'd break the bank and we'd stay here. In US Dollars, it was still a good deal. Quality accomodations, efficient room service with good food, central location, and a nice lobby-side cafe. One of the TV channels apparently lets you watch through the hotel security cameras? Weird....
