We stayed in a double room in the second house of Bellavista and really enjoyed they stay. The rooms were beautifully decorated (more like a hotel than hostel). Bathrooms clean with good shower pressure, great breakfast and really helpful staff full of ideas on what to do. A nice peaceful stay - would highly reccomend!

We spent only one night here and changed hostel the next day. We arrived at the Bellavista Hostel but where told that we need to go somewhere else. They have two houses. Would have been helpful to know that before! The house where we stayed in the end was really small. There is no chill out area. You can nearly...

This is my home in Bogota. I keep coming back here while travelling in Colombia and I love to return and come to pet my favorite hostel dog Maya who lives in the Casa. The location is the best: just in the heart of Candelaria. It is a nice place to relax and socialise. There are a lot of common...

This hostel is more like a b&b than a hostel and has a great feel about it. We stayed in Casa Bella Vista 2. The guy that runs the desk is the nicest and most helpful man we have come across in Colombia and the girls that make breakfast are just lovely. Excellent breakfast included. The location is great and...

When we got dropped off by our taxi driver, he warned us that the area of the hostel is not very safe. There were security guards at the small plaza and one of them walked us over to the Hostel. Once at the Hostel we were greeted with a big smile and showed to a very big private room. The...

I don't know what happened but they mixed up our reservation so we had to move to their Bellavista 2 hostel, a dependance. Even though we paid ahead. Not friendly or helpful in this case. Small bathroom in nr2, smaller room as well

Bogota was my first stop in a 4 months trip, and Casa Bellavista gave me the softest landing I could image. Clean beds, a spacious bathroom, very nice relaxing area with sofas and a hammock, and with daylight coming in (I really like daylight in hostels), super friendly owners that helped me alot and also called me a cab when...

My husband and I stayed 2 nights at Casa Bellavista when we first arrived to Bogotá, and I could not be happier with our choice. Our flight got in late, and Gerardo greeted us, walked us to house 2, and made us feel safe and comfortable right away. Breakfast was nice and we loved the coffee and tea all day!...

We booked two nights in Casa Bellavista, but ended uo in the much less atmospheric Casa Bellavista 2. Something we only heard about upon arrival. The walls here are so thin you can hear your neighbours breathing, something that makes sleep a challenging endeavour. The common area is mostly used by the not-so-talkative owner as television room. Oh and there...
