We arrived on a late bus at 11.30pm and the neighbourhood is dodgy so we could not back out. The photos are deceiving. This place is an absolute pit and I will be trolling those good reviewers that aided and abetted the con. Picture a Bolivian prison with no guards, filthy toilets, a disgusting kitchen, horrible rooms with filthy sheets...

The hostel is centrally located and has a basic kitchen with some pots and pans but very few cutlery and tools. Breakfast is not included. Toilets and showers are plenty but often cold. The showers are all electrical. Unfortunately the top ones gave some electricity when touching the tap (not life threatening though). Towels are not included. WiFi is very...

We spent there appr. 10 nights in total. It is not one of this shiny hostels with roof terrace and "all you can eat" breakfast. For 60 Bolivianos you get a colourful room with of course 2 beds or 1 matrimonial, a table and a chair. Cleanness is good, but on Sundays, we experienced, they are not absolutely keen on...

We had a double room which was ok and safe. The location was perfect, super central. Only thing was it was quite noisy during the night because of some traveller crowd accumulating in the corridor and talking and smoking every night, and all windows face the corridor.

This was the cheapest hostel we found (20pp for 6 person dorm, 25pp for 4 person, 30pp for double). Nothing special facilities wise, but normally had at least one hot shower working. Good communal areas and kitchen. Always seemed to be a good crowd there - mostly Chileans, Argentinians and French. Stayed there every time we were in La Paz...

We chose this place as it is well situated, cheap and not one of the party hostels in La Paz. There always seems to be a good crowd of people here, we stayed for around 2 weeks in total and got to meet lots of Europeans and South Americans and the atmosphere was very friendly and entertaining, music by the...

We stayed here for two nights and found that the rooms were okay (basic), as we stayed in one without a bathroom, they offer free computers, WiFi, kitchen facilities, and for 60 bolivianos (for both of us). The problem was that all of the guests were young backpackers so it can get very noisy until 1am. Their showers were decent...

This hostel is well located near the sagarnaga street (witch market), is cheap, as wifi and some old computers that you can use if you hace no laptop. You an eat cheap in the Lanza market wich is like 2 blocks away and is a 15mn walk from the bus terminal. Limit service but ok, plus there is a kitchen.

Don't stay at this hostel. The staff came into my room and stole my money and passport. All the staff knew about it and the owner would not call the police when I asked them to. I spent 24 hrs at the police stn. And later one of the staff confessed to the police but not before the women staff...

I think this is the cheapest hostel in town. You can get a bed for 20 Bolivianos in a 6er dorm. The showers a not all hot. I always go to the shower/bathroom downstairs its the only hot shower that I found. They have a small kitchen, computers you can use for free and wifi. Its a little noisy in...
