The location is superb for exploring Punta del Este. We were able to walk to everywhere we wanted to go on the peninsula, including the famous La Mano. The bus station is a short walk away allowing us to catch a convenient bus to further beaches along the coast. The hotel is located in the heart of the shopping area with easy access to excellent shopping. Our overnight flight arrived early in the morning and the staff were graciously able to get us into a room early so we could rest a bit before exploring the city. The hotel is charming but the decor could use some updating. The wifi in the room is good. The breakfast buffet had a large variety of delicious foods to choose from. The rooftop deck is a lovely spot for enjoying the sunshine or taking in a view of the sunset. We appreciated the friendly hotel staff who made our stay enjoyable.…
An old hotel, which could do with a refurb, but on the whole fairly decent. The room was clean and the breakfast buffet was sufficient - cakes, ham, cheese etc. The big plus point is that the hotel is well located, with the beach, restaurants, shops and Los Dedos all within a short walk. Tip: Take the bus from Montevideo airport to Punta del Este as it is about US$10 instead of US$150 in a taxi - the bus takes an hour and a half, is direct, has Wifi, air conditioning, comfortable seats and drops you centrally near to Los Dedos.
Is an excellently located hotel, in the heart of the peninsula: ideal to go with a group of friends out od season time. Has an excellent american style breakfast with home made sweet delicatesens, the bar is open til midnight. Rooms are comfortable & spacious, the noisiest area is near the elevators as it is the mandatory way for the guests. The crew is super friendly & the rate is more than adequate. A good choice!
Nice hotel with grand foyer. Helpful staff, allowed room change for better view. Good breakfasts. Great location close to shops, restaurants, and easy walking distance to beaches. Nice rooftop pool and spa.
great location, friendly staff and nice accommodations. Close to the bus terminal also and smack dap between both beaches. The room was comfortable and breakfast was included. Our 2nd floor room overlooked the street with a huge outdoor patio that was wonderful for sipping a glass of Tinto before dinner. Noise from the street was not an issue.
This hotel was very good, the employees were all very educated and helpful, the localization in Punta couldn't be better, the view from the top pool is very nice, very recommended, breakfast was also very good, only point is the parking lot on the lowest floor, it's not much illuminated, but that was ok.
Good installations, employees very polite and helpful and location is perfect to visit Punta del Este and also very near to the Punta Del Este Marathon Start and Finish lines. Many good restaurants close to the hotel and you can walk safely in this place.
we like to stay there., because it is in the peninsula , where there are many shops and restaurants to visit. It isn't a sophisticated hotel, but is very good. It's clean and it has a very good breakfast.
The staff was very helpful with everything, warm and friendly, and overall this was well worth it. We were guided to the resources and points of interest we needed and the things we wanted to visit. Punta del Este is a major summer destination and we were there in high season. We found the 'Rambla' to be a great way , just walking, to see and experience the sights. The people were all warm and friendly.
I've stayed with my family in a suite, which was double room connected, quiet and very well located, i've stayed in many hotels in punta and most of them are very simple, this one is much better than romimar ( please stay far away from this one), simple but good breakfast, a bit expensive for what they offer but punta is a very expensive beach.
