Very cozy (small) rooms and bathrooms, perfectly comfortable and cozy, near the major street but quiet. Excellent service, bilingual (english) staff. Be careful to specify if you book with or without breakfast, as some booking sites will offer without breakfast as an option. We also enjoyed the tour to Casa Pueblo for nearby sites and great point to see the sunset, recommend!

the rooms are very small and the beds are not comfortable. The hotel is overpriced in my opinion for what it has to offer. No view from any angle. Overall it's an old building that needs to be fully renovated.

The hotel does not look anything like the photos. It is in bad general condition. The most important flaws in my opinion: 1. The pool is dirty and the surroundings are not well kept. There were several wooden planks with nails exposed making it dangerous to walk barefoot. 2. Our room (11) had fungi on the walls that caused an unpleasant smell. Also, the air conditioning was not working properly. 3. Dirty towels. 4. No price guarantee. Through the hotel website they offer the best price guaranteed. We payed 110 dollars a night booking though the hotel website. On Hotwire the same room on the same dates was offered for $ 55 a night. On the good side: The location is very good and the treatment of the employees too.

Saluda atte, Lucila.-

Only an 8 minute walk from the bus station is a big plus. The hotel is close to beaches on both sides of the peninsula (handy if there is wind). The English speaking staff is very friendly and helpful. We asked for a quieter room and were given room 19 at the back overlooking the pool. It was quiet by 10:00 (once the pool area vacated). Yes, the room was small and the breakfast adequate - not great but the location and courteous staff made this a good value. The a/c worked well in the room and the patio in front was a cool place to relax and people watch. Oh - yes, they do charge for towels but the beach chairs and umbrellas are free. Everything is expensive in PDE but we found this hotel to be well worth the money.

Cozy, clean, friendly staff, nice atmosphere, good breakfast. The bathrooms look newly renovated (tiny downside, I'm not crazy about their charging USD 5 to rent out swimming-pool/beach towels while forbidding guests to take bathroom towels out of the hotel, but I understand why they do it. It seems most hotels in Punta del Este do that.) Overall it's a good option if one wants to be in the Punta del Este peninsula.

Stayed here for 3 nights. Really nice people on the front desk, they spoke good English. Great location, walking distance to a lot of places to eat and close to the beach. Breakfast not great only if you like a lot of carbs in the morning the pastries aren't that great. They do have a choice of cereals and have a bit of fruit but not much. Good coffee, abit bitter but I found that in a lot of places in Uruguay. Room very clean, bathroom has abit of a funny smell and shower is very small but you get by with it. Water is nice and hot. Had a balcony but that wasn't a reason why I booked it, the rooms with no balcony is very small and we had a lot of luggage so needed a bigger room. Really comfortable bed, nice and soft. Pre book as we paid £40 a night and if you go in the hotel and want to book there it was about 140 US dollars per night. Very big difference. Pool was nice and places to sit and relax. We went out of season so the bar with the grill wasn't open. I think it's worth the price.

Reasonably priced hotel near to the waterfront in Punta. Continental breakfast was good, although the dinning room was a little small for the amount of persons that were looking to eat. Staff were helpful and English was no problem. Rooms were clean and in good order.

Positive: Best location, walking distance to beach, restaurants, clubs, market etc. Staff really nice and helpful. Wi-fi works properly. Negative: The room is very tight (it has everything needed though). Breakfast could be improved (no eggs and no light option).
