The place is amazing, half of the place is a beautiful forest with some bungalows. It has also an inside/outdoor restaurant that is useful if you don’t like to go outside any day. Parada 29 is near La Barra and Manantiales, beautiful place to have lunch or dinner or La Punta in the other side.
We couldn’t be happier with Il Belvedere. The location, service and great lodge was a hit. The beach and warm pool perfect for the kids and the whole family. The staff helped with any extra bookings. Will definitely come back!
I stayed in the bungalow, you can cook or even do a bbq. But I’ m lazy I did not cook. I had twice a dinner in the restaurant. Breakfast is great, lots of choices. I think you can have breakfast till 10:30. If you have breakfast you do not need lunch. The have two swimmingpools. One is cold for swimming. Most time I was the only one who really swim in it. The sea is more for playing. This is a destinations for the summer. I love walking on the beach. Most time a walk really for hours. Good beds, and great shower. Rain shower. I think 10 min away by car from center of punta del este. Normally I walked for 45 minutes to go to la barra. Much nicer.
Everything about our stay at the Belvedere was fantastic. The grounds are absolutely beautiful! We loved having our own bungalow, it felt very private and had plenty of space for the two of us. The staff was always very helpful and kind, the housekeepers fast and efficient, borrowing bikes was a breeze. The staff even brought us breakfast to our bungalow one morning upon request. I could go on and on about how wonderful this place is. I thought it was a great location (across the street from the beach), not close to busy downtown (but an easy drive by car or a bit further by bike), and just a mile or two from La Barra. I definitely recommend staying here - we certainly will the next time we are back.
We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights in order to visit Punta del Este. Although the weather was not good and Punta del Este was rather dissaointing for us, we had a wonderful time at the hotel! Beautiful spacious rooms with kitchenette and balcony. Wonderful gardens and 2 pools! The breakfast was vey good, we could order our eggs and enjoy a rich breakfast. Although it was low season period, everything was perfect! I would like a more equiped gym though! The hotel is outside Punta del Este so you need a transport to go to the city. Personnel was polite and helpful. We had a very restful and confortable stay!
Very nice hotel, we loved everyhthing! Nice food, kids frindly. The service is great and very close to the beach. The rooms are tight and they cared about every detail. i strongly recommend the visit.
This is our second stay here and highly recommend it. This time we were with all the family. The units are spotlessly clean and very well equipped. The facilities are excellent and the breakfasts (included) superb. We also had a very good dinner there one night. Staff are very friendly and ensure that you have a great experience. On our next trip to Punta we will not hesitate to stay there again. Keep it up Il Belvedere!! Gracias, una estadia perfecta!!!
We booked a two bedroom bungalow, which was spacious, well appointed and well maintained. The patio offers a large dining table with a barbecue space. The toilets were very clean. There is a nice courtyard to sit and look at the sea. Kids’ playroom is great. Staff is helpful and friendly.
Excellent in every aspect, beautiful location, delicious food (they even included food for celiacs) and the staff is really friendly, they were always attentive to our needs. I definitely recommend it.
Just across the street from the Atlantic, Il Belvedere sits glistening. The emerald lawns and crystal clear pools (one heated, one not), the bungalows with ample room for large families, the sumptuous breakfasts, all make for a fabulous stay. Just up the road from downtown Punta del Este, the relaxing vibe is really nice. The only caveat is that they really aren't open for dinner, so you must travel off-campus for a good meal. We sat outside on our porch at night and gazed at the unfamiliar Southern constellations in awe.
