It is such a great experience to have time and meet friend. We sip and enjoy the signature of cake and coffee at Le Cafe. Nitin is excellent, he is carring his professional manner during he taking care of us with smile and knowledgeable on his outlet, during we are enjoy of cake and coffee. We ask for water from one of lady but she told us that the water that had been served is free but if you want more I have order! We are fine to order the water , it was not a big deal!! but her reaction , face and tone of voice are fare from Emirates palace standard. Overall thank you Nitin!!! We will back again.
Everyone raves about the 24ct gold cappuccino so we thought we’d give it a go. I have to say it was a massive letdown. We’d booked our table in Le Café and settled in on the sumptuous chairs. The waiter greeted us by name and I ordered the camel milk cappuccino along with jasmine tea for my wife. Expectations were high until I tasted the coffee, it was picture perfect in the cup but barely warm and relatively tasteless. The needle jasmine tea however was fantastic. Blue in colour and at perfect temperature. The serving point was awash with dirty cups and half finished plates of goodies so all in all a damp squib for the £30 that it cost.
Visited the restaurant last month for the occasion of our in-laws anniversary and really had a memorable time . Great food and amazing ambiance with a great bundle of whole hearted team . Must say Praveen did everything to make our visit special starting from getting vegetarian soup for my mother in law where he noticed she was not having the seafood soup until getting the anniversary pastry while he saw them taking desserts on buffet . I must say the detailing is what you guys have which is lacking in many restaurants these days . Once again thanks to the team and we will be back soon to celebrate our sons birthday.
Loved everything about this place. Perfect beach, loved the pool area, great service from the pool and bar team. Staff we’re all friendly and helpful. Bedrooms were plush and comfortable. Stunning grounds. Breakfast was really good! My only comment, please add more vegetarian options to your room service menu.
I was recently at the Emirates Palace, it's a blast! but the stay wouldn't be the same if it weren't for Bai Tong's kindness and professionalism! she was our butler and she is perfect! The views are fantastic and the Melday restaurant is a feast for those who enjoy delicious arabian food. Super attentive waiters and maitre.
We have visited Abu Dhabi before and vowed that the next time would be at Emirates Palace. After a very sad two years, we wanted to celebrate a special wedding anniversary there.. We booked a package through Emirates holidays as they had an offer on for a room upgrade and free half board and economy flights but the cost was still £3000. We looked forward to visiting the seven restaurants and having amazing food at this 5 star hotel. It is beyond grand and impressive with beautifully kept grounds . Our holiday got off to a bad start when we were told their was no transfer arranged. We were upset as I assumed a package always included transfers but after 41 calls to Emirates holiday, I finally was told that was what the meet and greet meant. We were really annoyed when and 2 hours of calls , speaking to Emirates staff etc, we were told we could make the 2 hour journey by bus. After an overnight flight and 40 degrees heat, we really didn’t need this. On arrival , we were greeted by Noboku and a young gentleman who allowed an early check in as they had low capacity.. We were told the pools were open from 9 until sunset so another disappointment as in 45 degrees it’s only pleaseant to swim early and late ,and as a registered disabled Lady, I need to swim to help my chronic back pain.. Due to this fact only a few of the restaurants were open and we were told that the buffet was no longer being served in the evenings we we’re not happy about that but on this occasion, because their was a private party having the buffet, we could go that night as well. In our room was a nice bottle of chilled sparkling juice and a piece of cake, which was a nice gesture. After dreadful food on the flight, we were looking forward to the well reviewed buffet so went to book and we’re told we could t have the buffet but please have a complimentary lunch. We went to shower and change and had a little lunch as we needed to rest and save ourselves for the evening buffet which was very nice indeed and served by lovey, smiling attentive staff. Our room was on the fourth floor, was spotlessly clean and had a superbly comfortable bed but I slipped on the extremely dangerous bathroom floor. Luckily, my husband saved me from hitting the ground as that would have been disastrous for my spine as I have had major spinal surgery, which has sadly, failed. After a very nice sleep, we went to Vendome and had a delicious breakfast and then went to the mall before retiring to the pool late afternoon. We asked if we could use our food allowance for room service but that was refused but no explanation given.!! We ordered ‘Waghu beef burgers which were nice but the strangest Waghu beef we have ever eaten ( had it several times in Japan). It tasted more like camel meat, which we have tried before but as it was still tasty , we eat it anyways. We fancied the Italian restaurant the next night but there were limited choices of pasta but several more on the room service menu and I assume they were ,ade in the Italian restaurant , so why on earth are they not on the ,aim menu. We decided to go to Hakasan next evening as it had good reviews and tried to book but were told it was full. Eventually, we got a table at 9.30 pm. It was mad busy but our food arrived quick Y, but only the ,eats and no rice or noodles arrived.and by the time they did, the meat was cold, so sent back to the kitchen for new ones, which were very nice. The following evening we went to the Arabic restaurant and we were given hot bread and complimentary hummus and a small glass of wine, complimentary. We ordered a garlic cream chicken and lamb tagline. The lamb was dreadful . Three hard, tough chunks of inedible lamb. It was meant to be cooked for several hours to ensure tenderness. The prune sauce was lovely and the chicken was average. The Manager offered to replace it but we just wanted to leave. On our last night we returned at Hakasan and we were served by a lovely young man from Nepal and the Dim Sum were amazing and the mains were lovely .and hot. The drinks are ridiculously expensive even for this hotel. £5 for a small water, £10 for a small beer in Hakasan and £11 for a large water. Whereas at breakfast you are offered comloo en tray SN Pelegrino. I stupidly lost my walking stick and Katy did all she could to locate it and also found my reading glasses for me, which was a Godsend. A couple of housekeeping problems were, no toilet paper or face clothes on one occasion which was a surprise but not the end of the world. As for the pool, I only found out on the 4th day that the main pool actually opened at 7 am and that really upset me . Also we were not offered any chilled water on the first day but did on the second and then finally on the third day were also offered a cold towel for the first time which was much needed. But should be automatic and the ice in the water and towels replaced regularly. The pools tiles need looking ar for sure as well. On our visit on the Sunday, we asked a pool attendant to kindly move 2 sunbeds in the shade( my husband recently had a skin graft on his nose following cancer.) so it is vital we have shade and full protection. The young man was not happy at all and said he was very fatigued as he threw the beds and ta le down but did not bring us an umbrella as he said we were shaded by the tree. We asked another and got one right away. We discussed our concerns with the adorable Mr Biko on our last evening ( to improve guests experiences) and he promised to address them. I also complimented Chester for being attentive and having the biggest smile. There were others butI didn’t get their names. I finally got my early7 am swim on our last day which was lovely but one life guard cannot see the whole of the pool areas. I also mentioned that no one member of staff asked if we needed anything but on one occasion, finally managed to get someone’s attention and ordered Nachos with chicken, which were very nice but literally had 2 tiny strands of chicken. The whole breakfast team were excellent, especially Mr Raolf, Alfonso and Rita . The Concierge Mr Ricky, was most helpful in checking with Emirates Holidays about our return pick up and got back to say it was included and the bus left at 0930 but we would have to be there by 8 and our seat could not be guaranteed so we booked the hotel car instead . (Also. .? Gite. in reception was extremely nice and helpful). On two occasions, our wake up.call was 45 and 15 mins late . We were meeting friends after the first late call so that was annoying.. So, sadly, we felt disappointed on several aspects of our stay . I believe the hotel has recently changed from Kampinski to Mandarin Oriental and felt their were lots of newly trained staff. We are not people who expect t to be pampered but did expect higher standards here.. I truly feel for the team as the majority of them are from abroad and have left family and loved ones to work in UAE and I am sure the will continue to learn as they become more experienced. One other, note, we checked with Emirates airline about PCR tests and we’re told we did not need one of fully vaccinated but then my research said you had to for the malls etc, within 14 days of arrival. We followed this up by calling the hotel directly and we’re given different advice including the ‘AlHosna’ green pass. This would not allow a UK citizen to add their tel number, so paid £100 for 2 tests. Therefore we were shocked to be told that on arrival at the hotel, we had to pay for 2 more. I always aim to give a fair and truthful review and after visiting 56 countries and numerous lovely hotels, feel I can do this with honesty and integrity but hope this will help future guest experiences.…
Prompt chk in.Friendly, helpful staff. Lovely arabic design welcoming room with crsip linen, good views, modern amenities in those rooms which hav been renovated. The "butler" servce offered nothing xtra as othr hotel with a butler does for example tea/coffee, pressing servce, etc. Staff call it the 2nd 7 Star hotel in UAE, officially its 5star. I found the general atmosphere abit cold but perhaps that could hav been afforded to there not being any families with kids around as well so evrything seemed quite formal
A beautiful property. Majestic and simply amazing. Service was a bit delayed but when shared with manager Katty took care of it. Jomin an excellent person met him at breakfast. He added value to our stay. Sujay treated us so well at Martaban Indian restaurant after we shared our feedback with him about food not being great. Joseph our buggy driver and Maurice our luggage associate exceptional in their hospitality. The best thing is if something went haywire we shared with the staff, they fixed it for us so in the end we had a smile on our face. Looking forward to being our guests here.
After coming home to Switzerland, I still daydream about Emirates Palace. It simply took my breath away. One of the best stay in my life! Everything was fantastic. The hotel is incredibly large, you can get lost in it. Various restaurants. We adored the Hakkasan (Thank you Jenny!) Absolutely unique. Recommend to sit outside. The staff were super friendly and helpful. You can get tested for covid in house. Very convenient and important. The rooms are incredibly beautiful and spacious. Sea view recommended! Beach area is just WOW. We would like to highlight: K.Charles Thank you for your one-time service. You are the kindest soul. Also we would like to highlight: Blais - THANK YOU VERY MUCH! Dear Emirates Palace, thank you for making our stay the most wonderful, 100% coming back very very soon! Definitely the best hotel in Abu Dhabi.…
We stayed for 3 nights, very nice hotel and grand. Rooms were decently sized and well maintained. When we visited half the hotel was under renovation. Was dissapointed with dining options something always seemed to go wrong. Pools were lovely and staff polite.
