After a disastrous journey from London we checked in to Hilton Abu Dhabi a day later then we should have.
Tired and relieved we walked into the reception area. WOW! This was definitely worth the wait. The shiny floors, grand/tasteful decor and welcoming staff we were so happy to have arrived.
Check in - Harry welcomed our group and got us checked in very swiftly. Very professional and a seamless check in. Exactly what you need after being so tired and delayed with young children.
Then lovely Ashwin from concierge took our luggage showed us to our rooms.
We had 2 rooms booked.
We were absolutely blown away when entering our king deluxe one bedroom suite. We couldn’t have asked for any more. It was just perfect in everyway.
King guest room was perfect for us too.
The rooms are such a high standard.
Everywhere in this hotel is absolutely pristine. Can’t fault one thing.
We went straight to breakfast after checkin because of the time we arrived.
We were greeted by Stella. She was so welcoming and smiley. Such a great way to be greeted.
OH MY GOODNESS! The selection and quality of food at breakfast was outstanding. We travel to a lot of hotels in the world and this was definitely up there in being one of the best. Hat off to the chef Gambheer! He was really friendly and made sure we were ok.
After breakfast and a long sleep we ventured to the executive lounge. All the staff in there are top class. A special thank you to Francisco and Diane thank you for looking after us so well.
The lounge has so much choice for afternoon tea and the cocktail hour. We didn’t have breakfast there so can’t comment on that. The views from the executive lounge are stunning. And it never seems busy as there is so much space for everyone which makes you feel really relaxed.
We went to the swimming pool which had a substantial amount of sun loungers and didn’t have any problem getting a spot even though we came down late.
The kids loved the pool and we made the most of the time we had there.
You have access to 4 parks INCLUSIVE of your stay. Warner brothers, Ferrari world, Sea world and Yas waterworld. Such an amazing perk to stay at the hotel. You can visit no more than one per day.
Unfortunately we only managed to visit one (Warner brothers) because we were so delayed. But we are returning in August for a couple of nights and will definitely return in the future for a longer period of time.
They also offer a free shuttle service to all the parks that run every 15 mins. Anthony (security guard) helped us with this and made sure we didn’t miss the bus. Thank you for going out of your way to help us Anthony.
I had the absolute pleasure to meet Tashila (duty manager) who helped me with some questions I had. Her customer service was exceptional and nothing was too much.
I was so impressed with EVERY single member of staff we came across on our stay I personally told Saif our positive comments. You could see by his face how proud he was of his team and he was so nice too. With Management like that you can see why the staff are so hard working and happy in their role.
I was fortunate to have just enough time to visit the spa to use the facilities and got a 30 min massage. I pulled a muscle and they fitted me in. The Masseuse Rinkey really worked her magic. And I managed to travel with very little pain because of her. She was exceptional. Thank you.
Saif I can’t thank you enough for organising this for meat such short notice. You really went above and beyond and I very much appreciate it.
Bina from the spa was so helpful and friendly. It was lovely to meet you and thank you again.
I also can’t forget to thank and mention Vanis from the front desk who organised our late check out and Fabian who checked us out.
Robin thank you for helping us to our transfer with our luggage and making sure we got off ok.
We were only at Hilton Abu Dhabi for one night. We felt so welcome by everyone and can’t believe what a fantastic time we had in such a short space of time. This shows how phenomenal this hotel is and I HIGHLY recommend it.

Beautiful hotel in terms of common areas such as the lobby, the swimming pool as well as the rooms, but most prominent was the excellence in service. I’d like to commend especially Vania on the front desk. She’s very helpful and accomodating when we arrived very late at night. Check in process was very smooth and we got to immediately get into our room (we paid for an upgrade to a suite which had a really good space and layout. It had a big balcony with some lounge chairs and an amazing view of the island. The bed as well as the sofa bed (unlike sofa beds at other big chain hotels) was super comfortable) and get the much needed rest. It also did not take long for the bell services team to get our luggages sent up to our room. The housekeeping team was also very quick to set up our sofa bed and extra bed. During our stay of 3 nights, they always made sure we had enough more than enough bottled water to keep ourselves fully hydrated. The animal shaped towels and balloon decorations were also such sweet gestures from them. Another team that deserves our commendation is the executive lounge team, especially Rere that was especially friendly, informative and accomodating. The lounge itself was kept really clean. The seatings were very comfortable and we got to have breakfast with a view through the wide, glass windows on both sides. We also got our picture as a family taken and printed out as a souvenir from the Executive lounge team. Overall, we had a really good experience at Hilton Yas Island as the first hotel we stayed at on our UAE trip. The kids love the main pool as well as the kids play area. My daughter lost her goggles somewhere in the pool and the staff (Priscilla) helped in finding it. The location of the hotel was also very strategic in that it was quite close to the amusement parks (Ferrari World, Warner Bros and Yas waterworld). There were shuttle buses that we could take, not just to the parks, but also to Yas Mall. In the afternoon, we could also walk to the Yas Marina where there were a lot of restaurants. Totally recommend this hotel, especially for family vacations. We will no doubt return to this hotel whenever we go back to Abu Dhabi. Good job Hilton Hotel Yas Island. Keep up the good work!

Our family was offered by our HH servant in our MFC Community a promo from Hilton Yas Island, Abu Dhabi. Book a stay and you will get park tickets either Ferrari World, Yas Waterworld or Warner Bros. This promo was the reason why we booked as we have not yet experience the Warner Brothers Theme Park and it is a child friendly park that we know our children will enjoy!
Never did we know that we will not only enjoy the Theme Park, but the Hotel Stay itself!
I could never forget all the staffs who assisted us from the time we arrive until we checked out at the hotel. These are the people of passion, kind hearted, fun and genuine! They made us feel that we are equally important guests of the hotel.
Romar was the first staff that I commend, he was very helpful from the time that we arrive. He approach us from the taxi, greeted us with a genuine smile and take care of our luggage. We were also greeted by other staffs upon approaching the front office desk.
This is where I commend the 2nd staff Josh Aranda who made possible of our stay a wonderful one. Yeah I got his complete name coz I did ask when we checked out😁He was very courteous, friendly and accommodating that he even upgraded our room and extended our check out for 4 hours! Yes, 4 hours is a very generous extension. The reason why? Because he wants us to enjoy our 2nd day of stay, since we told him that we booked at the hotel due to the free theme park tickets. He made sure that we will enjoy not only the theme park but our stay at the hotel itself. And our family did enjoy by dipping at their nice pool for 5 hours! Thank you again Josh for the extension of check out! Not only our children but me and my husband did enjoy their nice pool all by ourselves😍(It's Sunday by the way, off peak day)
The other staffs that I will commend are the staffs from Graphos where we had our free breakfast. Joanna, Ruth, Bidhiya and Ajay are all very accomodating and helpful but I commend the most Ajay who made sure that our breakfast experience is a wonderful one. Food was amazing!
I forgot to ask the name of the staff on duty at the pool, but she is very helpful as well.
The hotel's amenities are clean! Their lobby was amazing! Our room made us feel at home! Everything was clean and I like how they do the sanitation! By the way I checked on their website prior to booking how they santized their facilities especially the rooms as we want to make sure that our family will have a safe stay.
Overall, we had an amazing time at Hilton Hotel because of the staffs excellent services that has made our stay a memorable one! We will definitely recommend Hilton to our family and friends and our family is looking forward for our next stay here!

Booked online for two connecting rooms so we could have enough space and privacy.
Upon arrival at the hotel the doorman definitely throws an exclusive vibe. His politeness is outstanding and he was very cool with our kids. The second we stepped in, Hilton went south on us.
At the check in we pulled out reservation that was paid and at our surprise the front desk lady asked us how we should pay the remain balance. At first I thought it was for "maybe" the breakfast or some hidden traveler's tax, well not at all! When I booked on hilton.com I was told that what I paid was for one night even though the reservation was for two nights.
What a rip off! Indeed, I pulled my macair, and in a font unreadable by the unaided eye I was able to see "price is per night". Even though I provided my credit card when I did the reservation online, never was I shown or told:"By the way what you are being charged now is not for the full stay but on a per night basis".
Anyhow, I got quite upset and disappointed and check in as I had to pay double the amount I paid in advance. Never in my experience with 5 stars hotel have I experienced such a "car mechanic" coup.
But what shall we do when kids were ready to hit the pool. I frowned and paid.
The rooms were outstanding, the breakfast not so adequate. Croissants were dried out, so I permitted to inquire about the Chef Pâtissier who told me his croissant batch stayed too long in the oven. Well if that is the case, trash it and do another one!
Finally, the cool think about the hotel were the tickets for Warner Bros and the water theme park, but at this rate, I would have stayed at the Park Hyatt on Saadiyat and pay full price for Warner Bros which would have been a much cheaper option than the Hilton online check in coup.
Alas, the housekeeping kept us cool by shaping our towels into funny animal shapes and the kids love it, however Tala at was not allowed to deliver to our room so you physically have to walk outside the hotel which is a big malus for the Hilton Yas Island at this point.
Bottom line: customer service 0, doorman excellent, breakfast looks and feels like a cafeteria, drinks by the pool: perfect.

The hotel is beautifully situated on Yas Island and the whole place is stunning. The room was large, well equipped and spotlessly clean with bottled water provided in large amounts (just as well as the weather was boiling) and frequently restocked. The breakfast buffet was immense with food choices to suit every taste, whether hot or cold. Being a Muslim country, there was no pork available so the breakfast sausages and bacon were either turkey, chicken or beef. My only real gripe was the provision of only cold plates for hot food, which wasn’t that hot anyway. Nevertheless, the staff were very friendly and helpful and were happy to receive constructive feedback.
Now the downside. The noise at night was pretty unbearable and it came mostly from a club directly adjacent to the hotel. Very loud music and amplified voices went on into the early hours keeping my wife awake. There was also a problem with noise in the pool area throughout the day, usually from a very loud DJ desk and boy was it loud. I don’t suppose that the younger guests were too bothered but it was a bit much for the older guests.

Highly recommend staying at Hilton Abu Dhabi on Yas Island. Just 15 mins from the airport and one of the first hotels just as you come over the bridge onto Yas Island from the Airport and mainland Abu Dhabi.
One of, if not, the best Hilton we've stayed at. Extremely friendly front desk, concierge and room service. Special mentions that made our stay so wonderful go to front of house/desk: Saif Alsadeq, Islem, Akram, Subhradeep Sen, Aravind and Rutendo, who is the most friendly concierge I’ve ever come across.
Stayed in a King Bay View room early January 2022. King rooms facing the road are also good, if you’re not fussed on the view, as the road isn’t that busy. May possibly be quieter as you don’t hear the background music from Buddha Bar and Café del Mar – which could stay to 1am (bay rooms on west side are quieter). I'm a very very light sleeper so I could hear it but nowhere near the noise I've had at other hotels. The hotel promptly changed us to a room in the middle of the hotel which is quieter than the East side room we were in that directly overlooked Cafe del Mar.
The Bay view is lovely with view of the bay and mainland Abu Dhabi across the bay – can see Hazza bin Zayed Stadium (shape of a football).
Rooms are spacious and Covid-safe with a sticker that breaks upon entering on 1st day indicating no-one apart from housekeeping has entered since clean. I suffer from back and neck problems - as with other Hilton hotels, bed is very comfortable. Room cleaned well daily even though we didn't expect it to be from what we understood from website.
The coffee / snack shop near hotel entrance serves lovely coffee, pastries and cake with seating inside and on the balcony.
Regular shuttle buses, from morning to night, on the island that takes you to theme parks and mall so don't let it deter you if you feel the hotel is not right near the theme parks. Taxis are well priced. Lovely stroll along the waterfront on hotel's doorstep with a choice of waterfront restaurants and bars right outside. Newly opened Cafe del Mar allows free access to hotel guests (Adults only) playing chilled lounge music with a decent menu for lunch and dinner. Access to sunbeds, swimming pool and infinity pool.
We found the location and hotel perfect. The only improvement for us would be more vegetarian food options at the hotel but there are waterfront restaurants on the doorstep and shuttle buses to the marina, the mall and other hotels. We’ll definitely be visiting again. Thank you Hilton Abu Dhabi Yas Island for a wonderful stay.

I thought it would be different than my previous Hilton experiences but as usual they fail to impress.
A newly opened hotel/resort with lots of issues:
Low water pressure, burst bathtub telephonic shower, wrong hot/cold water connection, AC control not working properly.
Once you leave the room the do not disturb gets automatically deactivated and you need to press it once again before closing the door to reactivate it.
Pool: allowing people wearing normal cloth to use the pool should be a big no!
Breakfast food was fine though could have much more variety for a 5 stars Resort.
Good things are the service, location, packages with the parks which are commonly available in all Yas hotels.

This is our first time to stay in Hilton Yas Island, and we are already planning our next trip. We stayed in a King Bedroom, the pullout sofa is really comfortable as well.
We had a very seamless experience from the time we get out of our car, Mr. Josh has been nothing but kind. He knows the value of customer service to its core. Thank you so much!
The breakfast buffet hits home. The range of food options is very well thought of. The congee was something like cooked by my mother, I could not ask for more. The staffs are all attentive to our needs, the supervisors visited us to check if we need anything more. This extra "hello" and "how are you" defines the difference.
The birthday song and the card were something very heartwarming, we did not expect that at all. But Thank you for making my hubyy happy.
As we are on pandemic, this relaxing break was something we all needed. I have personally felt their commitment in making sure that the hotel is following the proper covid guidelines and being implemented strictly.
Thank you again to the whole staff! We will definitely see you again!

There are lot of positive things that can be said about Hilton Abu Dhabi Yas Island. The property is new and clean, near to the Yas theme parks for family fun, the pool area is very relaxing and has a fun space dedicated for kids, and the breakfast was tasty in a pleasantly appointed restaurant space. But the most positive aspect of this hotel is their people, absolutely all of who have obviously been picked or well trained for the highest level of guest service and satisfaction. It is expected for a doorman or a front desk staff to give the white glove treatment, but the drive to ensure guests are happy extended even to the lifeguards at the pool. The building is new and it is no surprise there will be some infrastructure-level kinks being worked out. We had a slight drainage smell in the room we were given, which was immediately addressed in a professional manner. I hope that the staff will continue to maintain their great attitudes and service quality going forward, even after the 'newness' of the property wanes. I won't hesitate to return to the Hilton Yas Island for our weekend getaways. Finally, the suggestion by the staff at the pool bar and grill of the club sandwich was spot on, I second that recommendation.

We have just spent a wonderful 12 nights at the Hilton. We arrived to find our suite was allocated on the ground floor which had no balcony or view but this was promptly rectified the following day when we were moved to the 10th floor.
The rooms are very clean, well appointed and as you would expect from Hilton. Water is provided in the room.
Room service and housekeeping are fantastic and respond to any requests very quickly and are most helpful.
In particular the staff in the executive lounge on the 7th floor are absolutely incredible. Coffee orders were memorised, special requests for gluten free items were delivered with much pleasure and enthusiasm. We were greeted and welcomed every time we entered for breakfast, drinks or during the day. Yvonne was particularly helpful and kind throughout and made us feel very special.
Pool is lovely and warm. There are sometimes not enough beds on particularly busy days but that only happened once during our time.
If travelling with kids be aware they are not allowed into the beach club but this is not actually part of the hotel in any case. Yas beach is a great place to go for the day and is only a few minutes taxi ride away.
