We had the most amazing brunch. We decided to book due to the kids area and activities. Ended up booking a junior suite for the night; the room is fantastic. The kids were entertained by face Ponting, movies and singing and dancing while we enjoyed the most fantastic food. The staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.
The best seafood night in town. Fresh and unbelievably fresh and delicious. Kazi and his team were absolutely amazing and attentive, they really went out of their way to make our night truly special, and genuinely made us feel like we were the only guests in the restaurant. Kazi never missed a beat. We will be back to create even more special memories.
I have check-in yesterday and since then I didn't want to leave! The place is so nice not because of the building or fancy rooms. It is the people I love your hospitality special thanks to Mr Sachin he is a super hero. If you have a future stay with Marriott Al Forsan call in advance and ask for Sachin he will make your stay memorable. Ben in concierge is wow super hero at the time there was no taxi when I came down. I asking to get me a taxi. He says: "The taxi will be here in a moment" after less than a minute the taxi was there it came in handy because I was running late thanks Ben. Lastly milky is the queen of Marriott so smooth check out and invoice was sent to my email in no time. Overall I have to give it 10000000/10 they are the best. Worst hotel management ever! I’ve a membership to use the pool facility, I called them before to check if I’ve to book before I come and they told me no you don’t have to book, I came many times before with no problem, suddenly, today and while we are 4 families inside the facility they told us that we had to call to book as they allow only 10 families for this membership, and due to capacity they couldn’t accept us, but if we paid they will allow us! Do the capacity increase when we pay! And we even asked them to show us the register for these 10 families to ensure that already 10 families came but they refused!!! Very unhelpful Spa manager!!!
The Room was good, but always need to ask for things example toiletries, towels etc, should be thr already if they know that two person are staying, this was little disappointing, The attitude of the lady on call was not good ( At your service) seems like she doesn’t want to help, sounds lazy and irritated. but then on the next day we went to Lunch restaurant but unfortunately they serve only Brunch no A-la carte, so we decided to sit on lobby lounge and have coffee and croissants, the experience their was totally different thn any other outlet, The lady Aika changed our stay from bad to the best, we shared her about our stay and experience, she apologized for the experience till now and offered us A-la carte from room service, which was so kind of her, she literally brought smile on our face. You can have a pleasant break with a fantastic view! Pastry and coffee are absolutely delicious, staff is amazing. Thank you to the team of staff: Eka, Atman,Amisha,Chand,Lino. Afternoon tea and birthday preparation was perfect , special thanks to Eka from the lobby lounge for making the day so special , the afternoon tea set was delicious and the place was quiet with lovely view and wonderful staff ,highly recommended 💛
Many hotels seem to have used COVID as an excuse to reduce services, cut back on amenities, and otherwise diminish the guest experience. The Marriott Al Forsan seems to have taken another approach — improve in all facets of an already excellent hotel. I’ve been going to the Al Forsan for about 4 years — with a 2 year interruption for COVID. I’ve started back in 2022, and all my stays have been great. The facilities, dining, and rooms all excel, but the real differentiator is the staff. Not only are the kind and polite, but they now are more empowered to address guest questions and requests. That’s something unusual for the region, where it is more typical to say they need to check with their supervisor. My request for early breakfast outside of working hours due to an early flight were met with a “no problem.” Other questions were quickly and accurately addressed. Tried their breakfast for the first time and i must say the Asian section was the best. The Laksa soup was delish! Upon arriving we were greeted by Marjorie with a smile beneath her mask. Victoria was also very approachable with our requests. Hope to be back, gotta have some more of that Laksa 😬
If there were zero stars I would have given it to this hotel. I am a mariotte bonvoy member. I arrived with my wife to Abu Dhabi after showing that we are fully vaccinated at the airport. The requirements for being tested for Covid has been lifted in Feb 2022 if you are fully vaccinated. Our purpose of visit was to visit a sick family member. Upon our arrival late at night we only see one person for luggage and one person at reception. The person at the reception was chatting with another customer ignoring that I am also waiting for checkin. Another reception guy appears and takes his sweet time to find our reservation. I explained that the app does not allow you to add breakfast or airport transfer. Anyhow I said please add breakfast for two. My biggest shock was when this other gentleman appear and says we cannot have breakfast at the restaurant, we cannot go to any mall or restaurant if we do not gave a recent PCR test and this is the latest info. Meaning our trip is practically ruined. I said to my wife we will just go to the hospital the next day and we travel back to our country. Upon meeting our Emarati family members we were informed there is no such thing. They came with us to the hotel and we asked for the Manager who also ignorant about the rules. We asked for the alleged circular and he failed to show it. I showed him that both me and my wife are fully vaccinated on our local and he bluntly says then what is the problem???!! He makes calls for a long time and I said we need to leave and you sort it out. We received no apology or even a message from the hotel until our departure. Would any body really want to stay in a hotel as such. I have been to Marriott Hotels in other parts of the word. Never coming close to the terrible customer service. Yes rooms are good, but staff never smile and untrained not to mention not enough. Breakfast lounge and restaurants, will we never saw because we were not allowed.…
