We are very grateful we had an excellent time in St Regis after a well needed brake from this long summer in Qatar.
Room: we had a suite with ample space and beautiful views, super clean spacious and comfortable as expected.
Breakfast: plentiful options to choose from... great quality tea., fresh juices, cover all the tastes from kids to adults and healthy as well. We had one day an issue with the eggs Benedict and they apologized and sent us a fruit platter to the room.
The afternoon tea was very good too, excellent tea, scones and fresh cakes.
Brunch in SI restaurant: simply amazing, excellent quality food, fresh fish and well executed cuisine, this was the highlight of the staycation... the kids were happy with their pizza as well.
Gym: very well equipped, there was a person constantly sanitizing all the equipment.
Pool: big enough to keep social distancing, cold towels, water and some time free drinks are provided to cool down.
Best of all: the great service, even when they had so many customers at breakfast the waiting time was not so long, we felt very well look after and we will definitely be back. Thanks St Regis team.
If you have a Marriott membership you will get 25% discount in the restaurants.

We stayed there for two nights, my daughter really enjoyed her time in the pool, in the hottest days ,43 degrees,the pool was cool and refreshing. Ice boxes with water were distributed for pool access, making sure everyone is properly hydrated.
The room was good and there was a cute little TV In the bath tub that was a major help to to finish my 6 Yr old daughter's bath while she was watching her cartoons. The room was a good value for money. There is a Room for improvement as there is no toilet shower in the room despite the fact that the lobby rest rooms has toilet showers. Bidet is not common in the middle East.
The food was nice, usually breakfast and dinner was a buffet but due to the COVID-19 it changed into a set menu that looks like a buffet which is a good twist and they managed to pull it together. Our Vine restaurant server Mary Daniels was very welcoming and entertaining, she always managed to get a laugh from our daughter during breakfast and dinner.
Would definitely try to pull another couple of days before school starts.

Amazing service, beautiful food. Highly recommend!
Staff and surroundings were highly enjoyable. staff accommodated my children’s diet needs and offered different food, child friendly great service from Fizas

Not quite up to St Regis standards--the service oscillates between lackluster and overbearing, and the property is starting to see wear and tear. The hotel compound is huge, difficult to navigate, and nondescript (it feels like a beach resort you could find literally anywhere in the world). The primary redeeming qualities are the spacious, luxe rooms and massive swimming pool. But the restaurants are only average despite the all-star chefs, and the room service food uninspired.
There are better options in Doha, especially at this price point, but if you do stay, request a room with a sea view, on a high floor. Beware of local partiers, who can be quite rowdy and typically stay on the lower floors (one of my colleagues had to move rooms thrice because of the noise).

The hotel is really nice and the staff are geberally excellent. I think this would be a great hotel for a weekend stay however for a long term visit it is not ideal.
During my stay, many of the restaurants are closed. I could not get beer on tap and it was only available at the Rooftop bar. The Rooftop bar staff are very nice however it is dead during the week and seems to act as a wind tunnel so it is not ideal for a daily visit. They also seemed to change their mind on a daily basis about what food could be ordered to permit the purchase of a beer which was rather annoying.
The rooms are very nice and comfortable. However on several occasions I had to deal with extremely noisy people in adjoining rooms. On one occasion this went on until 4am. Special thanks to Mr Babs for sorting this out and finally allowing me to get some sleep.
On another occasion the fan in my room broke and became very noisy. This was fixed the following day but it was another evening in which I lost sleep.
Prior to checking in we had agreed a special rate which included a specified number of laundry to be included on a daily basis. I confirmed this upon arrival by using the chat function in the app. When we checked out they tried to renege on this agreement which was very unpleasant and annoying. Not the Marriott experience I am used to I am sorry to say.
The gym, swimming pool and beach are perfect. Breakfast was good too. Unfortunately this was not enough for long term residents to be occupied with and we moved out early to another Marriott brand hotel where everything was open. While I appreciate renovations are ongoing, the lack of options certainly affected our stay and in the end we were keen to depart.

This was our second time staying at St Regis Doha in 2019. The hotel itself is great but that is not why we came back. We keep coming back because of the employees. Hands down this hotel has the best and most exceptional staff in customer service. Daniel K. from guest services continues to be a warm a welcoming pillar at St. Regis, Daniel made himself accessible at all times. During our stay I noticed they way Daniel interacted with other hotel guest and I would have to say he treats everyone with hospitality and enthusiasm. Eyad A. was extremely congenial. Our butler, Laxman was very thoughtful, he came by our room numerous times to make sure myself and my family were okay and taken care of. Aagman exuded the spirit of guest services. With that said, my children, wife, and mother will never forget the surprise birthday party Anthony K. and his team organized and presented. From arrival to departure Anthony and Daniel were there. Speaking of departure, the hotel staff, especially Samir and Weiwei, does such an outstanding job of making you feel like they do not want you to leave. I have never felt this way about departing a hotel before. A number of the staff members walked us to our vehicle and held the vehicle doors open for us until we were safely buckled. I sit here remembering the smile on my face and the joy they brought to my family.
What was interesting is the outstanding service was also experienced by the pool and outdoor areas of the hotel. Our interactions with George on Christmas day was festive and vibrant, he genuinely cared about his job and took guest satisfaction seriously. Jorum and Mani with the Oyster Bay bar were kind and accommodating. They never said no. Because our children are picky eaters, they were able to facilitate items off the room service menu to be delivered pool side. It didn't stop there. Everyday we went to the pool, the lifeguards interacted with our children in such a way that they looked forward to going to the pool.
Staff in the Vine restaurant were nothing short of amazing. Hakim was extremely welcoming and thoughtful. He was not rushed when he conversed with us.
With that said, the overwhelming theme from our stay is how well the staff treated us from arrival to departure and even after. The St. Regis team has given us memories that will last a lifetime, they truly care, and for that all I can say is thank you.

My family of four recently spent two nights at the St Regis on-route home to Australia from Europe. Our two interconnecting rooms were huge and very well appointed. There was a butler service though we had no need to use this. The pool area is huge and we spent one morning relaxing in wait of shops and tourist spots opening. The breakfast buffet was fantastic and the wait staff very attentive and friendly. The hotel arranged an excursion for myself and one daughter to attend the Camel Racing. Instead of the standard trip to the Camels and Sheik Faisal museum ( which we didn’t want to attend) at 450QR per person the hotel arranged a small SUV to take us to the races at 6am on an hourly rate. This was excellent as we needed the car to follow the camels racing around the track. The great thing was the total cost for 3.5 hrs was only 260Qr. A saving of over 600QR ( thanks for arranging this Ivanka at concierge). Also big thanks to Mannan who checked us in and out and gave us one breakfast for free when we underbooked as well as discounting our room service bill for the night we arrived. Only issue with St Regis could be its distance from attractions but this didn’t prove to be a problem as taxis are quite affordable 60QR to Hamad Airport and 25-30 QR to Villaggio Shopping Mall or Souq Wasif. Also it’s a 2 min walk to the new Metro service which costs 6QR for a day pass. All up a great stay at a lovely hotel without breaking the bank !!!

We had booked interconnecting rooms for four adults and 3 children. One room had a king sized bed and the other had double beds.
At check in, Raul took care of everything. Was very efficient, professional and attentive. Was in the room within 10minutes. Baggage followed shortly afterwards.

We ate at the Vine restaurant and had the BBQ Dinner buffet. Was lovely. Beach and pool was amazing, as were the kids activities.
In room dining took over an hour for the children's food. I found this disappointing.
There were many breakfast options and service overall was to a high standard as expected.
Overall a lovely stay, would definitely recommend to anyone with families.
At check in, Raul took care of everything. Was very efficient, professional and attentive. Was in the room within 10minutes. Baggage followed shortly afterwards.

Room dinning: My husband paid extra for our children and the maids. I was informed that either I eat downstairs for breakfast, in the heat, or have to pay for my own breakfast when it was already paid for
Elevator: the elevator stopped working on the first day and my husband called the number indicated. They said it was working fine and no one came to check it
Check out: They forgot to put my dust bad (with my clothes) in the car. I called to ask, 1 hour later no one called. When I called again, asked to put someone inncharge on the phone they said they found it and i will be charged for home delivery
Honestly, i stayed at the hotel before, but I will never set foot in this hotel again!

Hello, honestly I cannot answer to you because we went there in August. As weather was very warm the temperature of the pool seemed cold but it was about 25,26 degrees I think. In February no idea.
Hi, there are only certain rooms with balcony's, if I recall correctly they are on the lower levels opening out on to a balcony and then onto a larger podium area. If you email St Regis Conceierge Doha I'm sure they will be able to clarify.
