The Mutrah Hotel is one of the friendliest hotels we have ever stayed in! The staff are exceptional and could not do enough to ensure we had a great stay. Bernard is the ring master - organising amazing tours and making sure we had everything we needed. Jassim is the hotel guide and we spent two amazing days with him...

Stay away if you are looking for luxury or distance from the local experience, but Mutrah Hotel is the perfect place to stay for cultural lover. The great location, spacious room, amazing tours, friendly staff, and delicious meals made my two days in Omen a great experience. A bit tip I would give to talk to (and hand over all...

Whenever I travel around the GCC countries I always go for a 5* option. However my first visit to Muscat with my dad, we opted for location opposed to luxury. The main selling point of this hotel is that it is in walking distance of the Souk, providing you have no children and the adults are relatively healthy. Dad and...

Our initial room, the executive suite, was dark, musty and sprang a leak from the air conditioning on our first night. Plus the phone didn't work, nor did the shower. One window couldn't close properly, nor did one of the internal doors. The room was dark as it faces onto an internal passageway, so there was little natural light, and...

Stayed there for the first time and it was reasonable good place to stay . The hotel decor is traditional style and room was comfortable. Clean and nice bed and clean toilet with hot water. Only thing i was not happy about was the water in the tap as in the morning it was brownish color - probably from the...

This is apparently the first hotel in Oman! In my opinion, this alone makes it quite interesting. As far as the rooms and service go this is a nice and very decent hotel. It has everything a traveler really needs, the staff is nice, everything is working, rooms are quite big, comfortable and clean. There is free wi-fi in the...

This hotel is a short drive from the Muscat International Airport ( around 20 minutes) . You will get to enjoy the vastness of the road infrastructure and the solitude of Muscat en route. One of the oldest hotels in Oman and has been able carry off its splendour effortlessly on par with the ancient buildings and homes around it....

The place is clean and well maintained. breakfast is good and it's a buffet. Staffs are friendly and accommodating! Especially Bernard who is...

Ideal hotel in Muscat for budget and female travellers. So glad I picked this hotel, it really made my stay in Muscat even more enjoyable. The decor is a little old fashioned in the lobby but it is absolutely spotlessly clean throughout the hotel. My lovely single room had clearly been redecorated in a more modern style, with a super...

Mutrah Hotel is the oldest hotel in MCT and living there was a pleasure. It took us about 20 odd minutes (and 08 Omani Riyals) from the Airport to reach the hotel. I had booked a Double Deluxe room for myself and a friend. It was going to be our first proper visit to Oman and rest assured - it...
