We went there for one night to celebrate our marriage anniversary. Having never been to the Cedars, it was a splendid retreat from the city. The snow covered all the houses. The auberge has a very helpful friendly staff. The food was great. The room was good, not a 5* hotel, but all you need is there. The room was...

We went on Valentines day and it was fantastic! Rightin the heart of the mountains with plenty of snow. It was warm and cosy in our cabin and the food was fantastic! Bcharre is the closest town and theres plenty to see there, probably the most picturesque town I saw on my trip. Well worth a visit.

We wanted to visit the Cedars, over the busy Virgin Mary's Day 15th Aug weekend. We asked friends and were told that L'Auberge des Cedres was the best placed to stay but that all mountain hotels were "basic". Whilst it isn't a 4 seasons, we were delighted to find a gem of a hotel with staff who were all extremely...

The location is amazing since it's quiet and serene up there. The room was very cozy and the people there were friendly. I especially loved the breakfast while my friends and i were sitting in the wooden "le cerf" resto while enjoying the view of snow outside. Surely we'll visit it again soon! Thank you.

We moved out of another cheaper hotel into the Auberge des Cedres to complete our Feb 2010 skiing trip, hoping for a wow end to the holiday - which we got but not the one we had hoped for. There was a deep fat frier fire in the kitchen around 10:30 at night and all the staff evacuated the building....

Auberge des Cedres is a rare gem in Lebanon's tourism landscape, whose hotels seem to fall in two categories, either the glitzy luxurious type of hotels and resorts; second the rather shabby, concrete-block type of family hotel. There is not much in between, and there are few boutique hotels which stand out from this crowd. The Auberge des Cedres is...

What makes this hotel special during all the seasons of the year is the wonderful location. A night in the beautiful, thousands of years old, cedar forest is a healing, energizing experience. We got a very cute bungalow with excellent heating facilities, and a very clean and well-sized bathroom. The view that greets you when you first open the door...

This was our third stay at L'auberge des cedres and surely not the last. The resort has a variety of accomodation styles ranging from a deluxe summer tent (with its own sun bathing patio) to rustic wood chalets with a swiss feel. The setting is just breathtaking with the majestic cedar mountains surronding it like an angel's halo. The service...
