This is a luxury hotel in the centre of Beirut. Our room was top notch - and the breakfast buffet was one of the best I've had anywhere. Everything else, from the service to ambience is as to be expected in a luxury property. Located walking distance form conrniche also.

The Phoenicia is real institution in Beirut and you quickly understand why. The level of finish and luxury is great, and to my knowledge, the best you can get in Beirut (having tried the few 5 stars around). The breakfast selection with the stunning view of the sea make the overall breakfast experience just great. Also, the pool and bar...

This is a nice, clean, fancy hotel with lots of well-heeled clientele, and safe. It felt a little bit like a mid-range hotel in Las Vegas. I'm not sure it is quite a five-star hotel, if that's what it is claiming to be. Though it was relatively recently re-opened, the hotel has already started to show wear and tear (dings...

Most of the times I use the Phoenicia during my short stays in Lebanon. The rooms are classical clean and well maintained, the breakfast is well diversified and caters for all needs and tastes from Lebanese traditional pastry, to Knefeh bil kaak , to western and international breakfasts. The food is yummy and the roof top restaurant Eau De Vie...

Three of us (myself, my wife and son) stayed four nights at this wonderful hotel overlooking Zaytouna Bay. I was recognised as a Spire Elite Ambassador, was given an upgrade and then for the last two nights we were moved to the Diplomatic Suite which was wonderful. The staff were extremely welcoming, pleasant and helfpul particularly Hadi for whom nothing...

I had a standard room with sea view, However, it was adequate. Room service was good as was the spa and gym. Overall, a pleasant stay and a hotel I...

The hotel needs upgrading but is in a good location, the staff are friendly and willing to help with everything. The rooms look old and the beds need changing for a good nights sleep. The reception staff speak excellent English and easily arrange transportation to the historical locations

Phoenicia is not only an iconic landmark and legend in Beirut. It is a *real* five star, luxurious hotel which does not need any paid contributors or inflated internet reviews. It defends itself and it should be *the* gold standard in hospitality: elegant and classy, discreet yet sophisticated, timeless yet modern. From courteous doormen and check-in experience, chic yet cozy...
