I stayed in La Maison de Hamra for ten days and I really enjoyed it. Room is modern, clean and well-furnished. The staff was very helpful, they provided me with useful tips and any information I needed. The location is perfect, just in the heart of Hamra street, plenty bars and restaurants for every budget and having vibrant nightlife. For...

Overlooking a bright, busy corner on Hamra street, my corner room at La Maison De Hamra was big, modern, comfortably furnished and very much like a boutique hotel you'd expect to pay much more for. The french doors of my room folded open to a large, wrap-around balcony where I was able to take in the sights and watch the...

I stayed at this hotel with a friend of mine, we booked a suite. Its at the heart of Hamra, and everything is at a walking distance. Be sure if you are taking a cab from the airport, tell your driver to drop you off at the Starbucks in Al Hamra, the hotel is literally across the street from it....

I didn’t even manage to stay in this property. I was unlucky enough to book my flight and accommodation in Beirut one day before a massive car bomb occurred which killed a senior Lebanese government minister, followed by riots on the streets and civil unrest. The British government advised against all but essential travel to Beirut so I had no...

This is perfect location: the middle of Hamra and all of Beirut was walkable from here. The rooms and the hotel itself have the potential to be an amazing place to stay, for the money. The staff was very Lebanese style friendly. That is to say, extremely kind and helpful but not in a way that most Americans associate with...

Great location, arrived at 4.30am in morning but they did not charge me for that 'night' as would have happened in most hotels elsewhere in the world, friendly helpful staff, put in extra bed in suite for small extra charge (for my daughter), room clean, bit noisy (but that's Hamra St!) ask them to organise collection @ airport and request...

Let's see: it's in the heart of the bustling Hamra district. Ignore the shops (horrid merchandise) but check out the dining scene. Just steps from the doorway are multitudes of options including a new Cafe Younis. It has free WiFi. It has kitchenettes (yes, you can cook and eat in your room, should the mood strike). It has a huge...

We booked this hotel through booking.com, but unfortunately due to work commitments we had to cancel. We cancelled through booking.com a month before we were due to stay. We have an email from them to prove it. Unfortunately when we received our credit card statement the hotel had charged us the full amout of the stay we didn't have, over...

My boyfriend and I stay at La Maison de Hamra in September 2011 for 10 days. After a rather eventful taxi trip there (I learned that taxi drivers in Lebanon don't use street names, but rather locations, so ask them to drop you by the Starbucks on Hamra street, which is opposite) I was totally relived to find such a...
