Cleanliness is a very important factor when one tries to explore hotels for long stays. This is what the housekeeping staff at the hotel is responsible for and they are the real stars. Muzammil is one such star in my eyes who tirelessly works to ensure that your room is spic and span. I always look forward to reach my room in the hotel after a tiring day at office as i know what to expect when Muzammil is on duty. Keep up the good work dear friend. Apart from cleanliness, another factor is food. A man works hard for food and that is what is served in the restaurant here, with lots of love. Babu is an excellent chef who knows how to make a person happy. Topping is the service provided by Rashid, Omar, Nawaz, Jabbar. They really know how to make a person happy and return satisfied with a stomach which is full. Note that i am leaving with my stomach full but my heart eabts to spend more time here due to the friendly nature of the staff. Till next time....

I stayed here for two nights. Overall a disappointing and dull stay. I requested a nonsmoking room, but the room smelled old, and the corridor smelled like smoke/cigarettes. It definitely needs renovation. Other than the old smell, my room was just below average, tidy, and somehow clean, but the carpet was dirty—few room amenities, only the basics with no dental or personal kits, perhaps only upon request. The TV is antiquated with few channel options. Also, unlike advertised, there were no cushions on the sofas, pens, or notepads. The bed was very uncomfortable, A/C was noisy and not very cold considering Riyadh's super hot weather, and the fridge ineffective. Not to mention the yellow spots on the bathtub.
It's an average hotel with an average location, be aware that if you don't have a car, then getting around Riyadh might be challenging with very little to no public transportation (hopefully the new metro will open soon), so your only option is Uber/taxi (I assume the hotel offers car service but I am sure it's expensive.)
The hotel cafe opens afternoon, and the small lobby cafe offers hot drinks (cappuccino, latte, etc.) from a machine that cost 23Sr. So for not morning people like me who function on coffee, this was a problem.
If I ever visited Riyadh, I will not consider staying here again since I think it doesn't quite fully satisfy the price (higher than the return value.)

Incredibly rude breakfast station. My nutritionist recommended diet was four egg whites and two eggs. Chef rudely refused to make the order - for some strange reason that ignored me and didn’t respond to my request to fix it. Low point of the visit.
Found a perfume vile on the room floor indicating that the previous guests stay wasn’t cleaned up properly. That did unnerve me given Covid.
They did check me up very early on day one which was positive.

Rooms are small, house keeping don't change bed sheet until you told them verbally, even they don't add hand and floor towels. The clean promise of IHG not surely fulfilled.
Gym is old and equipments are not working especially Cardio machines.
Breakfast is Ok but not the best. The only great point is the staff, people like Saheed Masoud and others who keep up happy during breakfast time.

I am on a business trip to Riyadh and I will be staying in the Holiday Inn-AlQasr till Dec end 2023. It is more than a month stay in this hotel and I must say staying quality was very very good.
Their hospitality from the house keeping stuffs, specially Vinith who keeps on checking if I need anything to make my stay more comfortable, I must appreciate that. Service in the breakfast time is also excellent. Every day when I come for breakfast, Saheed or Jamal always ensure I get a coffee on table without failure, I sincerely thank them for that.
I do have a suggestion on the breakfast menu, I see no verity on breakfast menu and it repeats everyday. I feel it needs change specially when someone is staying for a month, everyday same breakfast menu will lead monotonous environment. Veg options are not very good, which can be looked into it, fresh fruit juice and some Indian dishes like Parata, paneer would make the menu better if it gets added. Multiple people from different countries come to this hotel and it would be good if their food options also considered.

I stayed at this hotel for 15 days, and my experience was excellent. The rooms were kept sparkling clean, and housekeeping maintained a good standard of cleanliness during my entire stay. The front desk was very helpful and proactive in helping out (it was my first time at KSA). I opted for the breakfast package and had the buffet breakfast for about 13 of the 15 days I stayed at the Holiday Inn. The spread was good but a bit of mixing it up would have made the experience much better. I have to commend the service meted out at the restaurant was 10/10 - thank you Nawas, Saheed, Masood, and Deen for all the hospitality, the smiles, and for making breakfast fun! Keep up the good work.

Saheed Masoud is the man. Good restaurant. Room lighting is bonkers: lamps only work if the blazing overhead lights are on. Huge problem trying to have more than one towel for a single guest, took two days to fix.
