Fantastic place, definitely one of the best in its category. Mohsen is a man with a strong sixth sense; paying very close attention to details and always embracing guests with a joyful smile. Stuff are courteous and very professional. Having a gym and a health club onsite is a huge advantage. Location is something you can’t beat; literally in the heart of Riyadh . I’d certainly come back again and recommend Plaza Inn Olaya to friends and family

I started here on business trip and I must say rooms are large and good shower and bed.
Me being vegetarian, I didn't enjoy Breakfast. Very good location if you are staying here for work.

Rahul

I stayed two nights and thought this hotel would be better.
It's very average, but the price reflects this, but still could be a bit lower than the rate i paid.
I know this is a Saudi hotel, but it would be good to have some eggs for breakfast, scrambled or fried , as an option.
Transport is at a minimum, try to book a drive online if you need to go to the airport early from this hotel. Ensure you save enough time for traffic. It took me 25mins to the airport at 6am, but it can take 1.5hrs in bad traffic.
Beds are average pretty firm, not what i like.
The shower had NO pressure! This was the worst thing about room 408 ! Fix this! I had to search for the water and scoop it over me. Other guests didnt have this problem in other rooms.
Lobby is neat and spacious, good service downstairs.

I was offered a "renovated good room" as the receptionist stated, being a doctor who's on a business trip. The room was very dusty, and noisy, you could here the almost everything on the street - Olaya street is very busy-. Bathroom was not clean and with no shower curtain or door so water would fill the floor when you take a shower. There was no shoer handle holder, so you have to hold it with on hand. Breakfast was poor with less than basic options.

My company chose this hotel as the usual one we use was fully booked; apparently the city had a major event going on and hotels were full. I stayed there for two night and had the worst experience of my life time. As a professional hotelier and knows basic standards; this hotel has none.
Mini Bar was empty and does not have even water!! There was two small room temperature though.
Rooms has no Room service menu and I had to listen to the available options from the operator over the phone to chose what I wanna eat for lunch.
Standing shower had no curtains and water was getting everywhere in the bathroom. Plus the drainage was blocked; so you are rewarded with a small pool of filthy water every time you shower which makes you wanna re-wash your feet after walking in on your way out of the bathroom.
Poor Buffet Breakfast options and the chef at the omelet station was wearing a Jeans and T-shirt while cooking my eggs - was not even sure that I was talking to one of the staff or another in-house guest that decided to take thinks at his own hand. I asked for egg whites and got normal omelet!!!
I had a meeting with a client at the lobby cafe and the waiter did not have any coffee (Turkish; American; Cappuccino or Late) to offer!! He only had tea and one type - thanks God he had green mint leaves to go with that.
Credit card machine was not working neither upon check in or out and they accepted only CASH; although the booking website mentioned that they accept credit card. Which had put me in an embarrassing situation while leaving the hotel and almost missed my flight due to the delay in sorting this out.

You can't ask for more. Staff was great, room was average. I would say ask for a room away from the elevator, it was a bit noisy. Also, the buffet breakfast wasn't that bad, its a basic spread. I see other reviews expecting 7 star breakfast. The price is affordable and the place was clean.
