We stayed there for 4 nights and for the most part we were satisfied. The suite was roomy and well furnished. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean. The suite has many amenities that helped us enjoy our stay. That said, the management need to pay better attention to details. So here is a list of things they need to work on:

1. Housekeeping: Inconsistent. One time they cleaned the place, but did not empty the bathroom trash can.
2. Maintenance: The microwave was there, it was buzzing and beeping and it appears it's working, but it did not heat, defrost or anything a microwave should do. The tab was also dripping and need to be fixed.
3. Breakfast: the service was excellent, but the breakfast choices were OK at best.
4. Wi-Fi: Only worked in the lobby and restaurant, but in our room it was not working at all.
5. General Information and services: Every hotel leaves an information bucklet, like you know, how to dial your phone, or what amenities in the room and the hotel, and how to use them, but this one has no such a thing, and when I asked the receptionist, I thought as I just have stumped him with the most difficult question.

These might seems like netpicking, but attention to details makes the difference between a one time guest and a loyal one.

My room was at a smoking floor. I am not a smoker, and the reception guy didn’t ask me if I’m a smoker or not. The smell of the whole floor was too bad.

The safety box was not working. I asked them to fix it and they did not send anybody.

No enough parking outside.

One of the days of my stay, I hanged the “clean my room” tag on the door and nobody did. I came back to my room at night and it was not clean.

I put my clothes at the laundry bag and I filled the paper of the laundry, then I called the operator asking him to send somebody to collect the bag. He answered me that we do not have laundry at the hotel! I don’t know why there is a laundry paper and a laundry bag in the room. Picture is attached.

The soap at the toilet is like a stone. No foam when you use it.

The pillow is too huge and too puffy. Not comfortable.

Only 3 elevators at the hotel and 1 of them is not working. You have to wait for a long time to use the elevator. Hotel staff are using the same 2 elevators.

Wonderful 1 months stay at this hotel. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. Restaurant food is very good and available all day. Staff all extremely friendly. A thank you to staff members Nadeem who welcomed me daily to breakfast and took good care of me. Also to Nayaam who was always polite and helpful for room service.

Today we had a Horrible experience in the restaurant at Iftar, This is the worst food I have ever tasted. The salad was rotten the olives are old and tasteless and I didn’t even dare to try the main course, I was soo worried Of having food poisoning.
This being said I muss say to be fair that the hotel actually is good clean rooms, nice staff and cozy atmosphere .

I was one of the first guests at the brand new Braira Hotel on King Abdulaziz Road, I had such a good experience that I now stop there every time I am in Riyadh. The early teething problems have all been ironed out and its a pleasure staying there.

The rooms are spacious and very well furnished with very comfortable beds, with a small kitchen and dining area and a separate lounge - everything one might need for relaxing after a busy day.

It has a nice sized attractive roof pool. Its a little shallow but extremely welcome after working all day. There is a small but adequate gym and I believe there is a children's play area.

Free underground (cool) parking.

A lovely restaurant with a broad range of foods for the inclusive breakfast and a comfortable lounge and reception all make the hotel very welcoming.

But as with any hotel the staff can make or break your experience. So far I can say that the service of the staff has been overwhelmingly warm friendly and efficient, and they seem to get better with each visit.

It's at the northern end of King Abdulaziz Road and very convenient for Kingdom Hospital and easy to get to most parts of the city. Only 20 mins for the Airport (80 SAR by London Cab).

I have stayed at several places around the city and this is by far my favourite.
