It was great experience staying at the Durrat Al Riyadh Resort and Spa. We booked for a 2 days and 2 nights stay with me, my child and my wife and i can say that the amount of money that we spent was all worth it. The staff and crew were very polite and friendly. From the guards at the entrance gate to the reception upon checking-in, they serve you with a big smile 😊 The room is very huge and stylish, with a balcony city viewing in which i enjoyed and spent my time when i wake up in the morning to drink my coffee and relax. They have a mini coffee bar inside the room in which you can enjoy making your own coffee thru the nespresso coffee machine. I also love the fast room service, they serve the food in your room warm and fresh and my family love the pizza and buttered chicken masala 🍕😊 We also love the dinner by the pool, very professional crew and the selection of food was great!! For a SAR200 buffet dinner is worth it. From the selection of appetizers and main course, to the desserts, everything is really tasty. Me and my toddler enjoyed the swimming in the pool, with a nice and relaxing arabic music, and accommodating staff, which serves as towels and floaters, really professional. I would like to recommend this hotel to my fellow filipino's working here in KSA, this is a perfect place to remove stress, forget about work, spend the weekend and have fun!!! Though were the only filipino guest that time, we never feel discriminated and we really feel the warm hospitality of all the staff. Special mention to the receptionist Mr. Abdulrahman Alejmi, he's very accommodating for and always serves us with a smile. Good job Durrat Al Riyadh.. Keep up the good work..

Location smooth almost 30 K if you are coming from north of Riyadh around 40-45 K from middle of the city. We experienced the lunch brunch, price for quality and quantity is rinsable value, chef should add more things for kids since our experience was in Friday, there was no corner area for kids meal, toilet does not have a basic thing for infant which is a baby diaper changer ! There was a nice big event we enjoyed walking around the leak (water lagoon) feeding ducks and fishes , landscape outdoor need more attention such as bunch to set and enjoy the view or to watch the kids while they are playing outdoor, kids club need more attention there were some games was not in operation and have a lot of dust, we do not know if it’s in operation or not! Area is so nice yet it needs more organize. Recommended to escape from crowded and enjoy the green areas with lagoon. There was nice Gentleman’s helped us Mr. Mehrij, Mr. Radi, Mr. Waleed there were giving outstanding service 👍🏻

Hotel is only 30 minutes away from any Mall in city center, The beautiful Spa is a unique facility with amazing indoor Pool and Steam and Sauna, we didn't get to try the treatments as it is not fully ready ( C'ant wait to go back). I loved the outdoor landscaping and kids facilities. there is only one Buffet restaurant which is good and wish had different international food variety. The outdoor pool is nice with well designed 18 holes miniature Golf course. rooms are very specious however we didn't stay in for long as the football and tennis courts and other facilities were attractive to spend the time active. very friendly team but service can be faster. thanks for your hospitality .

If you are looking for resort hotel to unwind from the city, Durrat is a good choice. They have a big outdoor pool for men and kids (hopefully soon women will be allowed). Service as expected from the staff are far from good, I think the hotel should reiterate to the staff what hospitality service should be. We had to call hundred times or catch their attention in the lobby to attend to our needs. Amenities is okay, but it's eveident the hotel and its premises are not well maintained. On the good side, as what is Saudi Arab are known for, the hotel gives freebies as much as they can. Their barbeque buffet by the pool is a must try. I recommend to add more drinks (like tea) in the future. In summary, I think the staff service should be the priority and has to be improved. Would definitely go back when the outdoor infinity pool will be open for female. Ciao! 😊

An American traveling on business to KSA I was unsure what to expect. Any expectations I had were far exceeded, both by the property itself & the staff. The property is absolutely top notch, excellent for business travel but would also be great for vacationing. Every member of staff went above & beyond to be helpful & accommodating. The Duty Manager Yahya Hadadi went far out of his way to answer any questions, help in any way possible & attend to anything we needed. I cannot say enough good things about my stay there. I now have a default location I would pick when in the area. Everything from the staff, to service, food, rooms, amenities, & property deserve 5 stars.

We spent 2 nights and 3 days here and it was an amazing memorable experience.
Mr. Abdulrahman gave a warm welcome at the reception. He gave a brief for all basic safety measures including COVID-19 and amenities at their property.
We're surprised when we saw the suite because it was beyond our expectations.
Mr. Benjie and Mr. Moez provided excellent support and brief at "Dessert Palm" dinning during dinner and same by Mr. Syed for break fast. Mr. Amin and Mr. Safique extended their service very nicely for serving the food.
Swimming pool was well maintained with full support by life guard.
Location is too beautiful that one can get relaxed by site seeing. We enjoyed morning and evening walk in the property as its having natural beauty.

Nice hotel, has everything you need, but if you are wanting to explore Riyadh it’s a bit remote. An easy 25- 30 minutes or more to the city depending on traffic The hotel felt empty - and probably due to its location. Likely also London with the time of year we visited Taxi driver told us this is where couples go for a romantic few days away. Nice pool, restaurant is nothing special Rooms are huge, bathrooms are epic, and all have a terrace I think Value for money is good - but again it’s due to the location.

On the day of check in I kept seeing the room being changed in the IHG App. It was upgraded then downgraded and then eventually upgraded but not with the pool view as previously.
I called reception and was reassured everything was fine. I asked about some details of their offerings due to Ramadan only to be told things that were then simply not true.
Arrived late in the evening and checked in as a Diamond Elite Ambassador.
I was told that the Club Lounge is not working apart from morning breakfast which would run to 11am (we later found out that this was only until 10am) but all was fine.
I wasn’t given any welcome amenity since breakfast was not being served in the main restaurant and everything was closed completely during daylight hours.
There was no use of a 20$ coupon, not that it was mentioned because there was nowhere to spend it. Honestly, I was a bit annoyed that they couldn’t even have the lounge open for drinks and snacks for those not fasting.
I rang reception only for them to keep connecting me to room service. They didn’t speak very good English and I was constantly misunderstood.
The one saving grace was due to the lack of evening lounge service they offered Iftar in the restaurant. The restaurant and food were lovely and this is something we really enjoyed. Though one night the restaurant manager phoned my room and said we have escaped without paying.
I obviously wasn’t too happy about this and this is what lets the hotel down. There doesn’t seem to be any communication between staff. I asked again on check out for my welcome amenity to be told that it might be given after check out.
Very poor I must say, but after I filled in a survey a manager did get back to me and sorted everything out taking care of these issues.
We loved the ambience of the hotel, the room was clean and very spacious and we loved the indoor pools, they were really warm. We had a very relaxing time and did enjoy our visit despite the issues we encountered.

We had so many expectations for this place, considering how hard is to find such places in KSA. The facility looks good in general terms, however most of the activities are not available even though they offer them at the check-in. The pool water was not clean, the kids club not open and the spa did not offer any massage. On the last day we decided to spend it out in the city since there was nothing to do at the resort. The place seems so understaffed, we saw the same guy doing multiple functions across our stay, from bell boy to pool boy to house keeping. The staff is friendly and they try their best but it is clearly out of their hands. The breakfast and dinner offering were poor and limited. Supposedly they are going through a change in brand and they will have more options available, I hope that is the case because the place itself is nice and has potential.
