My stay in Makkah during Hajj 2015 was that much more enriched by our stay in this hotel which I highly recommend.Very nice rooms and very good food. Close proximity to the Haram with easy access to malls and eateries.

Decent hotel. Clean. The hotel staff are friendly and you can call them on the extensions for assistance. There are 17 floors altogether and you can choose from a minimal double room to quad rooms. Mostly the hotel guests are from turks.and I think this is the first our Malaysian groups stayed at this hotel. The hotel is just 10... More

The hotel itself is good, nice clean, but not many amenities around. The buildings around the hotel are either being knocked down or closed. The hotel only had wifi in the lobby and none in the rooms. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast is very nice, they change it every now and then. Room service and laundry service also... More

Good furniture, refrigerator, tea &coffee, ironing facilities are provided, very good and clean bathroom hair dryer and good mirror (for shavers), hotel is ~7 minutes walking to the first haram door . Furniture needs to be changed or at least cleaned. Room delivery is quick. A disavantage is that bathroom maintenance (heater...etc)is not done prior to room delivery.

We performed umrah as a family (2 Adults and 2 children under 4 years). Our stay at Elaf Al Mashaer was quite pleasant. The checkin process was straightforward and to our surprise we were provided an upgrade thanks to GM Mr Ala Rizq. We stayed 4 nights and the close proximity to the Haram was a big bonus. I would... This hotel is very handy, to my opinion, for people who come solely for umrah purpose. The walking distance to the Haram is so close, just under 5 minutes I must say. I stayed for a night in hotel Elaf after a no-fuss online booking, the price was reasonable for a small family. We didn't have the chance to go... More

Worst experience in my life. They knock the door even if the "don't disturb" mark is there. The reception guys are the rudest ever. Moreover, they don't have any information that can help you. A simple question like "is the room electricity sockets 110v or 220v?" Is answered by "no idea, call the maintainance tomorrow morning to find out". They... More

The staff is friendly, and I liked the daily call I receive from the hotel asking I need anything or I have any issues, even during my round trip to Al-Maddina, they called me on mobile asking if everything was fine! The hotel is close to Al-Masjed, and you can even pray in the prayer in the mosque as if... More

Our stay at this hotel was comfortable and staff were helpful however I would not call this a 5* hotel. Buffet breakfast was nice but not too many options like other 5* hotels I have been to. Lifts were a bit of a problem as they would take very long to get hold of one and it didn't help that... More
