Big rooms and an old faded hotel in an upmarket shopping district. Attentive staff and good housekeeping. Pretty good included breakfast. Dreadful internet that was very slow and continually dropped out. About 15 min taxi trip downtown.

We stayed here 2 nights (first and last) as part of our tour through Jordan. It's a nice hotel for a short stay, clean, quiet, has everything you would need. I would've liked the wifi to be free but it wasn't outrageous - 2JD for an hour which fulfilled what we needed to get done. The breakfast is okay in...

We have stayed at this hotel for 1 night only after our arrival in Jordan. The staff is kind and helpful and the rooms are clean, even if the toilet should be renewed a little bit. I cannot say anything about the quality/price ratio, as the night rate was included in a holiday package organized with a local tour operator

Let me preface this with, according to someone else who stayed there, we got one of the better rooms. That being said it was a comfortable stay, the bathroom was very nice and clean. The bed was pretty comfortable compared to other hotels we stayed in Jordan. The food is okay, the breakfast always seemed like it was one day...

A comfortable hotel in the city. Stayed with a large group. The beds and bathroom were clean and comfortable. Food was fine, a good mix of salads and hot food, especially liked the almond cake! Must have stayed at the same time as Lena L, I don't think the staff were prepared for over 100 people descending for breakfast before...

I stayed at the Liwan Hotel for 8 nights for a work related trip to Amman. It was a very basic hotel, but I suppose it is OK for the price you pay for it. For the positives, it has a good location. Located in Swefiyeh, it has a number of places to eat and shop around it. It is...

Stayed at two different occasion. Bed OK, clean room, bathroom nothing to complain about. Main problem was that not all in the staff was very helpful. And one morning with lots of people having breakfast its was clearly understaffed - no mugs etc. second time we came we got a very nice room and more helpful staff was working which...

Hotel was probably good value for the money spent. Generally I like staying in more expensive hotels, so found this hotel to be lacking in decor and service. Room, however, was large and hotel was right across street from large mall and many restaurants and shops. Breakfast was disappointing. Very basic. No real coffee.

Colorless hotel, worn and overdue maintenance. Staff unobtrusive. Breakfast reasonable but bad coffee. Good beds and great shower. Located in a suburb, not cozy. However, a decent hotel. I will next time a city center hotel booking.

I spent 4 days at the Liwan instead of the planned 2 when I got sick at the beginning of a group tour. The manager Ashraf and assistant manager Jamal were very kind and did all they could to help me and be accommodating. As an ill tourist alone in a strange place when my group moved on, this was...
