The hotel I am told is undergoing renovations on the top floors. I stayed on the first floor which is still in need of renovations and internet connection is intermittent. One cannot expect too much from a budget hotel. Aside from being close to popular restaurants and souvenir shops, I could the most friendliest, Ahmed and Qasem at this place....

The owner was very nice and we certainly felt welcome during our two day stay. However the standard of the rooms was really poor. Wallpaper peeling off exposing concrete walls, old black and white television and probably worse was the bathroom which was full of ants (even on the 4th floor). The wifi didn't reach the 4th floor and the...

We loved staying in Torwadah and we would definitely come back. But it was not the one with the best room, or the cleanest one. We loved it because people there were awesome. The owners, the workers, everybody. They made us feel very very welcome, inviting us to different things. Also, in the same alley theres a place to eat...

First of all: don't expect western standards for this price because this would be unfair against the hotel and the very nice staff. This is very budget and for that it fullfills it's mission. To give you a bed for the night and a very welcoming feeling from the staff. This hotel is under a new ownership and both of...

Only good for only one night or quick stop over, however, I'm sure you could find something better and for a better value. The owner of the hostel is very friendly and will help you with recommendations if you need them. I only stayed here for one night as a quick stop over before changing locations as I arrived at...

We stayed at Torwadah hotel when we were in Amman for three days. The taxi driver had some problems finding the hotel (but the knowledge of street names by taxi drivers seems to be a general problem in Amman), so you should arrange for the pick-up the hotel offers. It is the same price as the taxi. The location is...

We stayed in this hotel during our Amman visit. It is quite hard to find however, the location is really great. Walking out of the hotel and 100m down the street brings you to downtown Amman. The owner is very kind and helpful in case you need anything. We arrived in the middle of the night and the owner was...

We've stayed for 3 nights at the Torwadah while in Amman. The rooms and the bathroom were really dirty and in general bad conditions (broken lamp dangling from the wall, broken bedside table). There was no AC but only a big fan in the room. Also, we didn't get the room we'd booked (two triples instead of a five-bed room)....

First of all I agree 100% with other reviewers about the amazing service. The man is simply wonderful - paid for our breakfasts (one day we got up very early and paid ourselves, but he insisted on paying us back!), let us use his washing machine for free, offered tea all the time, and walked us to the taxi stand...
