The Abbasi Palace is on Quraish Street in downtown Amman. It is right in the thick of things and is in close vicinity to some great historical sites. Whilst it does not live up to a description of being palatial, it is good value for money and is good for those on a tight budget. Rooms are Spartan but clean,...

We stayed for 4 nights in ensuite double room. When we arrived we had to choose between two room options. The first one was a room with the window overlooking the street, which was too noisy (even at 3 AM when we arrived). The second one was a room with a window overlooking the inside of the building, so no...

Sure we weren't expecting anything too fancy for what we were paying, but beyond the poorly cleaned rooms, the hotel was quite unpleasant. The guy working at the front desk didn't realize I understand Arabic, so when he called up this restaurant we wanted to go to reserve a spot for us he just spoke with them for a second...

Firstly I have to say this place is a budget hostel, so really the expectations of the guest have to be fair and to be at this level. I have stayed in a lot of Budget Hostels in India & Egypt on other travels, and this was definitely more comfortable & cleaner than many places I have stayed! No the...

I generally review places I like, but this place has such good reviews that I wanted to set the record straight. Yes, the staff was very nice and accommodating, the food was good, and they did a good job washing our clothes — this is a wonderful service all things considered. On the other hand, the rooms were bad. Not...

I had pre booked this place on hostel bookers, because of the reviews and pictures. Once we got to the place, it was so so terrible that we immediately put our bags aside and went to explore Amman and alternative accommodation. When we first got there, I was shown 4 different rooms and all were terrible and the stench in...

I stayed here for 3 nights with 2 friends as part of a Jordan week away to explore this stunning country. I felt very safe here, the accommodation was very simple, but very well priced and the food was very tasty! Especially the homemade soup.. delicious! Our host made us feel welcome, gave us tips and even helped arrange transport...

I'm not often compelled to write reviews for most of the places I stay, but this hotel was unpleasant enough to warrant a review. My husband and I were in Amman over Christmas and were hoping for a cheap place for a night or two. We booked here mostly based on the reviews on Trip Advisor but we were very...

We stayed 3 non consecutive nights at the hostel. It was very cheap, the cheapest we could find in Amman searching the internet. It is in central downtown and walkable to the sites, shops, cafes, restaurants. So a perfect base to experience & explore Amman. The room was a good size for 2 people, however, very basic. The 1st visit...
