This is a small budget hotel surrounded by several better hotel options. Even on a budget, this hotel is expensive and for a few dollars more, I would recommend another hotel in the area. The rooms are not the best, tv's are crap and washrooms are very dated. Not much more to say...but I cannot recommend this hotel at all.

A friend and I stayed at retaj hotel in Amman on 4/21. The set up looked pretty decent and we arrived late so didn't hear much noise. We didn't realize it would be the worst night of our vacation. My friend and I stayed in separate rooms. My room seemed cool at first but woke up in the middle of...

Some rooms are much better quality than others e.g. my first room cramped and noisy and horribly smoky but my second perfectly pleasant. Main issue relates to poor customer service practices and security - one day I came back to find housekeeping had left my door open (nothing missing but still concerning) and they also have a habit of knocking...

A nice small hotel located next to every thing in Amman, nice clean rooms, friendly staff. Charged nearly 90 US dollars per night which i consider expensive and had to pay nearly 5 US dollars for coffee with my breakfast, otherwize it is Nescafe packs.

We have been using Retaj Hotel for a few years, especially for business meetings and short stays. The meeting rooms are good in specific the roof top one. Staff are gracious, cooperative and professional. The food is tasty and home-like. The location of the hotel is also convenient. If you're in Amman for a short stay, Retaj is recommended.

My son and I stayed for 3 nights at the Retaj hotel. Our first night we found our room satisfactory, but certainly not noteworthy. When we returned to the hotel a week later we were in a considerably nicer room on the 4th floor. Rooms were small but clean and comfortable. The buffet breakfast was unspectacular, but not terrible. Staff...

This is an excellent place for a training course. The roof top meeting room is light and airy, giving on to a terrace, and the buffet lunches are delicious. The staff are friendly, courteous and helpful. I recommend it highly. Retaj would get 5 stars for its conference facilities. Three stars only for the accommodation. The bedrooms are quite small...
